Id love to see all of our old Cali chapters come back:

Hilgard @ UC Santa Barbara
USC
CSU Northridge
Chico St

Plus

Long Beach
Stanford
UCSC
Humboldt

I'd really like to see Delta Sig get bigger at schools with huge greek systems. It seems we're only the big dogs on campuses with small greek lives and small student bodies (3000-10000)

I would like to ASA recolonize at my school so that I could be a part of an active chapter again... but I doubt that will happen given the situtation... but when they do recolonize in the future I will be here to help!!!

For entirely selfish reasons I'd like to see one at Oklahoma City University. They're about 20 minutes from our chapter which I think would be pretty cool..

Pi Phi:

We need more chapters in the Carolinas and in Georgia!

East Carolina, Appalachain State, UNCC, NCSU (so all of my friends from high school can be founding members!) and Davidson!

South Carolina and Clemson recolonizations

ANYwhere in Georgia!
We could use more Northeastern chapters, too.
AND I like carnation's idea for Hawaii.

I'd love to see our EX chapter back at Marquette so I could stay active next year! I'd also like to see us at Ivies, esp. Princeton - a close friend goes there and seems to think sorority life there isn't for her, but she loves to hear about my chapter!

I would love to see the Pi Chapter of Beta Theta Pi back. We are dominant in the Big 10 and Pi is Indiana's oldest fraternity. They were huge and strong and will be back witth a vengeance next fall !

I would love to see more Theta chapters in Missouri -- reopen the chapter at Washington in St. Louis, maybe colonize at SLU -- and I'd really like to bully Webster U. into opening up a greek system, as far as I know they only have professional societies/groups (like SAI).

I think Sigma chapter at U. of Toronto and any other closed Canadian chapters should be recolonized (because I love Canada!)... hmm, what else?

Chapters at George Washington, North Carolina, Arkansas, and Tennessee -- oh and throw Darthmouth back in so we can fill out the Ivy League!

Really I just want every closed chapter reopened and some new ones in the St. Louis area opened so I be an advisor extraordinaire without having to drive three hours out of town!

Oh, and I'm all for chapters in Hawaii (lucky AGD!) and the Bahamas. And how about Guam?

And of course, more chapters out West!
I've been lurking around these message boards for a week or so, but just registered today but I thought I'd chime in and say...the Kappa Delta Chapter at my school(WVU)...was just closed Fall 2001.

We need more Texas & Big 12 chapters. I especially want DZ to recolonize @ UTexas & maybe SMU someday. RIght now I'm in LUbbock, so I'd love to see us at Tech, but I'll probably be moving soon, so I don't have so much energy about that anymore.

As it stands, if I want my daughter to be DZ and go to a big/mid size TX school, she'll be going to A&M or SWT. (A&M will be a tough sell to my longhorn family, so in the next 15 years, we need to make a comeback at UT).

Big 10/Big 12 two different things, if I understand correctly.
Big 10 = Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Wisconsin.

Big 12 = Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, A&M, Texas Tech, UTexas, Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa State

At least I think that's right. DZ is pretty well covered in Big 10...our only Big 12 chapter is at A&M.

I'd like DG to be present at every Big 12 school! Right now we don't have chapters at Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Iowa State and Baylor.

Also, more chapters in Georgia, the Carolinas and the deep South! Glad we re-colonized at Auburn, hopefully we can continue to pave our way through the south
