The oldest Soror in my chapter, who just celebrated her 84th birthday yesterday (Happy Birthday, Soror Julia) and I were having this same conversation several years ago, and she HATES soggy cereal. She said she pours the milk first, then pours the cereal in to prevent sogginess. Of course I never would have thought of doing that.
^^^This is too funny.
My favorites:
Honey Smacks (remember when they were called Sugar Smacks?)
Sugar Crisps w/Sugar Bear on the box - or I think they're now called Golden Crisps
Frosted Flakes - and don't give me none of that 1/3 less sugar mess either!
Froot Loops
Apple Jacks
Frosted Rice Crispies

Ditto on the Froot Loops...
I also loved Rice Krispies... but only while they were still snapping, crackling, and popping.
And I agree with the seasoned soror in your chapter... I detest soggy cereal and I use the same technique of pouring the milk first and then adding the cereal last.

Favorite Cereal from back in the day: Cookie Crisp.
Now: I love Kellogg's Raisin Bran Crunch. But like others I cannot stand soggy cereal. I pour the cereal first, then the milk, and try to eat them as fast as I can before they get soggy. I never drink the milk afterwards.
I like Rice Krispies, but will only eat them in Rice Krispies treats. They get soggy way to fast for me.

I miss eating cereal as it should be eaten -- with cold milk.
But I did love Grape-Nuts. NOT the flakes. The good old crunchies that Euell Gibbons used to endorse.
As a dry snack, Cracklin' Oat Bran is wonderful.

Oh my goodness - do you remember those commercials too? Man, if they were LPs, they'd have the popcorn sound, that's how old those commercials are!

I haven't eaten cereal in years. However, when I did, they were the following:
Frosted Flakes
Rice Krispies
Cap'n Crunch: Peanut Butter Crunch
Cookie Crisp
