^^^ You win. Again. It's okay, I'm not gonna think about it anymore. At all. Ever. There is no appropriate smiley to put here, at least not on my end.

Where do you see that they are licensed? I just looked at the list of official vendors on the KD website and didn't find Herstar. (What a terrible name, by the way. Sounds grammatically incorrect.)

The official Greek Licensing website lets you search by GLO to see all the licensed vendors. Herstar appears on almost every sorority's list. I totally agree about the name too...it irks me.

Greek Licensing

And oh yes, dear NPC sister, KD is listed, too I shudder to imagine...

Boo. Guess the list on our website doesn't include the "latest and greatest" official vendors. I thought about contacting HQ to complain about it too, but those things are so tacky that I can't imagine they'll actually sell. Hopefully they'll just go away.

Oh, I also love the description about the sizing. Sizes run small and are inconsistent, a half to a full size too small. If someone DID order them, they probably wouldn't fit! Which would be a good thing. For all.

Funny, IndianaSigKap. And yes, this is one time I'm happy to have been left off the list. Because you know we'd end up with something tragically close to those surreally horrible Tri Delta shoes. I did have to check out the website and there were some awesomely horrible ones there. Nearly $300 for a pair of LA Lakers pumps?

I'm imagining the dress to go with these shoes. Wowza.

I think you need a pair of those Lakers shoes since you live in the OC.

Lightbulb A MUST for any PNM...

I am really disappointed in the criticism of this fine footwear by GCers.

These shoes are a MUST for any PNM. Show chapters that you know to walk in their shoes. By a pair for every chapter that you are visiting and wear into the chapter. Have your helicopter Mommy nearby to carry all of the pairs so that you can switch out before each party.

When you are done, you can easily re-sell the pairs for the next set of PNMs!

These are excellent BIG/LITTLE gifts.

SERIOUSLY these are ugly shoes. I would never recommend purchasing these to anyone...

Never having been to the South, but after hearing how hot it can be during recruitment plus having to go the multitudes of chapters, I can only imagine how disgusting those shoes would be after like two or three years... yuck!

I'm picturing desperate PNMs buying a pair for each chapter on campus, and changing between houses! Oh, the humanity!

They could be put in a Rho Chi group based on their shoe size! BRILLIANT.

I honestly wonder if any PNM's see these and think that they would be perfect to wear for recruitment.

Thank heavens that (a) I am no longer an active, (b) these shoes weren't available when I was an active, and (c) they are not offered for AEPhi. I can easily see a certain evil rush chair from my chapter demanding that we wear these shoes (and pony up the $$$ for them) ...
