There were a few excellent threads (that I apologize for being to tired (read:lazy) to search for you) where people expressed their favorite line from their creed/mission statement/purpose/etc. I've read through each of them many times, and there are many fraternities represented. Delta Tau Delta's creed is a favorite of mine.
To answer your question, Delta Chi uses the Preamble to our Constitution the way many groups use a creed, but it is really more of a mission statement than a statement of belief. We supplement that with our Ten Basic Expectations, my favorite of those being number nine: "To exercise compassion and understanding in dealing with all persons" particularly because I find it so hard to achieve.

SWTXBelle, a wonderful article, again! You picked a line from my sister's sorority creed that reminds me so much of her ("to think in terms of all mankind and our service in the world" and "to find satisfaction in being, rather than seeming, thus strengthening in us the higher qualities of the spirit"); it definitely made me smile!
