lol
I haven't been over to this thread for quite some time, because my Vikings are doing awful this season. I'm surprised they're bringing their new coach back next season. At least they were smart enough to release McNabb, though. He sucked.

Why wouldn't they bring their new coach back? a new coach means a new coaching system implementation, new coaching staff/philospophy and then at least 2-3 NFL drafts to bring in his players.
They had a poor season for several reasons, but I don't think it's as simple as saying they need a new coach...for the new coach they just brought in.
Besides, if they lived with the Brett Favre will he/won't he circus for 2-3 years, I'd think the new coach could get more than a year to show what he could do.

lol @ Brett Favre "will he/won't he".
You leave my Brett alone.
Honestly, I don't think my Vikings would have gotten as far as they did without Favre. Plus, Frazier's decision making is awful. I mean, why bring him back with a season this bad?

Getting nervous about this game. Dallas and the Giants have both been like Jekyll and Hyde this season. If last week's teams show up, Giants win this going away. :-p

Dat's what pissed me off about the Giants. When we face good teams, we play awesome. When we face mediocre or bad team, we play down to their level. If it wasn't for Eli, we might just be a lot worst off.
However, in honor of the win:

Love the Giants, esp when they play down to their competition.
I'd be more confident about us getting into the playoff if we were playing our last games on the road against the elite teams.

At home watching the game. I hate the Saints with a passion. I never got over what they did to my Vikings and Brett Favre, so I'm hoping the Lions kick butt and take names, tonight.

I'm hoping they kick butt tonight too, but I'm not holding my breath. Just being in the playoffs is pretty amazing for us

Did anyone watch the Steelers game on Thursday? My senior sem was due that day and after I finished that, I checked out and slept through the game. I heard Harrison did a helmet-to-helmet hit on McCoy and might be suspended now, but it's hard to find video.

Oh yeah, he led with the helmet. Hit McCoy right in the chin. If he's suspended, it's deserved.

Broncos pull it out in overtime over the Bears-thanks to boneheaded moves by Chicago players and coaches and some Tebow and Co. passing and catching. Oh, and THREE field goals in the game were over 50 yards- like 51, 58 and 59 yards, something like that. Crazy.
