LOL, you couldn't even try and make implications about my personal life? I'm so disappointed.
Enjoy your Nick at Nite reruns.

^^ this is hardly a trainwreck, don't encourage thread locking and deletion. It is rarely used for the greater good.

Are you seriously for real? The Odd Couple hasn't been on Nick At Nite for years - actually, I don't think it ever was. They seem content to fill their slots with dreck like Everybody Loves That Asshole Raymond (someone on here called it that once and I've never been able to call it anything else since).
Actually carnation, it's not the OP's fault this took a tangent. Her issues kind of got sidetracked and that's not fair. Maybe just split groovypq's post and the posts pertaining to it into another thread.

I just saw this. I will be graduating half-way through the year and then either starting grad school or a total new degree.

Note: every sorority has different policies, but not every sorority allows graduate students to stay active.
So depending on the chapter, they may not want to waste a bid, knowing that you're only going to be active for what looks like ONE semester (unless I'm reading what you're saying wrong.)
I mean, logically speaking, if they have to choose between you and a freshman or soph, the odds are not in your favor.
Also, who has time to be an active NPC sorority collegian in graduate school? Even if a chapter were allowed to bid you, they might be hesitant because you may not have the time to devote to being active.

So now it is one semester of membership eligibility, in which you will be a new member, then an initiated active and then graduate and be an alumna?
As much as it pains me to say this, your odds of being offered a bid just shrank to an even smaller percentage (and they were not high to begin with, truthfully).
SMH. I do not understand at all why you would even pursue this.

Because if I do re-rush what's the worst thing that could happen?
I would not get a bid.
If I don't do it, I'll always wonder what if knowing I had a strong desire to do it and regret it the rest of my life.

^^^The above things are very true. At least you don't have to wonder "what if."

Am I getting this right?
Assuming you get a bid, you will be a new member in semester x, initiate in semester x, and then when semester x ends, you graduate?

This is the most ridiculous self-centered situation. You don't want a sisterhood. You're just looking to get some letters before you graduate.
