Steelers, obviously. But if my team is going to lose the Superbowl, I'd want it to be to the Packers. Not like losing to Dallas (barf). I have nothing but the utmost respect for the Packers. The ownership, the fans, the players, the history, their quirks. Great franchise.

I completely agree. I don't think there's been a more equally matched Super Bowl ever in terms of just the "feel" of the teams.

So the practice fields for the two teams will be on the campuses of SMU (in Dallas) and TCU (in Fort Worth). The NFC will be at SMU and the AFC will be at TCU.
Kind of wish it had been the other way around. For starters, the football field is only a stone's throw from TCU's Greek area, and not sure that I want Big Ben traipsing around all those 18-22 year olds on my former campus.
In addition, I think it could have made for some interesting elements if those cheeseheads were required to canvas the TCU campus after so many of them made fun of it at the Rose Bowl. Yes, I was there, and yes, I heard all sorts of lame insults about the size of our school from those Badger fans. In their eyes, size = better and they told us so all the way until the, ahem, end of the game. Irony? Isn't Green Bay the smallest NFL city?
Oh, well. Maybe some of the Packer Nation will still find their way over to lovely Fort Worth. I have no doubt that the city and my school would welcome the opportunity to show them around, and in doing so would be nothing but gracious and hospitable.
Best of luck to both teams. I don't really have a dog in this fight.

While I will totally agree with you that there was plenty of insults thrown from Badger fans towards TCU, the reciprocal was done. The majority of the fans were neither gracious nor hospitable. There were several reports of mooning, TCU men slapping the butts of young Badger girls, and even an instance where a TCU fan boarded a Badger Bus (after mooning it several times) for the sole purpose of reliving himself on the floor of the bus.
I'm sure our fans did some awful fans too, but TCU wasn't perfect by any means.

Consequently, I'm hoping my other Wisco team redeems us.

Since the creepiness of the Vikings quarterback (or did he retire for real now?) has been discussed, I thought some of you might find this video funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POyFv...layer_embedded
Note:language is nsfw.

GO PACK, GO!!
I really REALLY hope we beat the Bears Sunday, but I know it could go either way.
I have respect for the Steelers as a team, but HATE Ben Roethlesburger. I love Mark Sanchez. I suspect the Steelers will win, but I hope the Jets do, instead.
Bears/Packers... like I said, could go either way, but obviously I'm rooting for Green Bay.
Ideally, I'd like an all-green Super Bowl with Packers/Jets. It'd be fun with the young QB's, and I think GB would have a decent shot at taking Lombardi home again. I don't think that matchup's very likely, though.
If it's Steelers/Bears, I bet the Steelers will win, unless they completely collapse (unlikely).
If it's Jets/Bears (seems the least-likely bowl matchup) I think it could go either way.
If it's Steelers/Packers...I'll just pray we can put Roethlesburger away like we did Vick. Karma's a bitch.

24-3 at the half? Sad, New York, just sad.
