Two New Members at the Omega chapter? Congratulations to Sunshine91 too! And to the OP, a very well written and discreet story. Well done!

This is the only recruitment story I've read where I was a little familiar with the chapters. I only know one other house for sure based on your description of the outside of it.
Congratulations!!!!

Another piece of trivia - the KKG house at UCBerkeley was also designed by Julia Morgan. Sadly, the original Omega chapter house was razed to rebuild on the site. But - I believe the Kappa building is still standing.
I should have studied architecture but I don't do math at all... just appreciate design.

With love and careful thought...
Same words on my own bid card (which I looked at not too long ago).

Really looking forward to your story. I wonder how it'd compare to all the others on this site (in terms of drama, process, etc.)
You get a different viewpoint when you've actually seen the context in person. GO BEARS!

The good thing was all the houses I loved, Music, Psychology, Physics, Engineering, all invited me back! =) So I was very happy about that and it soothed the panic down just a little.

Quota is the maximum number of women a chapter may take in formal recruitment, not the maximum number of chapters a PNM may visit for a given round.
Even though you only had 7 instead of 9, it looks like you got what you wanted for the most part.
