I had hoped that Lane would have decided not to do it after the carbon monoxide attempt failed. But, no.
From what I read, the guys didn't know what they'd be seeing when they opened the door to Lane's office. That's one of the reasons they looked so devastated.
Thankfully, they did.
I was not expecting him to commit suicide.
