BTW, many states offer incentives to bring productions to their state. These productions are a wonderful source of income. IMPORTED people, be they tech or the major actors, spend lots of money in states outside of California and New York. The productions also provide incredible free advertising for the state. Canada requires a certain percentage of the cast/crew be Canadian. Production companies do not import people for jobs as extras or one line. Building sound stages are wonderful. But the people using them tend to be from out of state.

Yay!!! I'm so happy for you. I know how hard it is to break into the industry. I've read your whole thread and it seems like it's been quite the journey (with a few amusing sidetracks from the peanut gallery). I hope it works out for you, it seems like you have a lot of great prospects
