I was so nervous for the cowboys. I'm so glad they're still in the race!
And I'm loving how everyone is hating the lesbians. They really are negative. And if it was only toward each other, that's one thing. But they have no tact and treat other teams poorly.
I want them gone!

i love the brothers, the cops and the father and daughter and would like to see them in the final 3.
Also I hope that the father/daughter were allowed to go back to obtain their bags

Who?
I think everyone swan to shore.
If Brandy and Carol had hit the mat last, I would have been so mad that it was a non-elimination leg. But since it was the cowboys, I was very relieved.

We were wondering about the bag situation- whether maybe there's a provision that if at any time you abandon your bags, they'll be available for you when you are eliminated or someting. I would think that they wouldn't be able to go back and get them during their mandatory rest period, or everyone would drop their bags and run the leg without baggage, and go retrieve it later.
That anonymous comment was fantastic.

LOL, true. At least he laughed at himself, though -- I'll give him that.
As for bags, I think they've now lost them until they're out of the race. Hope they don't have to go anywhere cold, or we'll see bargaining like the days when coming in last in a non-elimination leg meant you lost everything except what you were wearing.

I'm glad they got rid of that. Once people figured it out, they just gamed the system by putting everything possible on. Not a fan. I like the speed bump much better! It's still a disadvantage, but a more realistic one that will either get you booted or let you fight to stay in it.

I agree, as long as it's not something lame like sit in a sauna for 10 minutes.

If I have to hear that obnoxious girl whine, "It's not fair", one more time, I may throw something at my television. When her boyfriend threatened to quit, I was yelling, "PLEASE QUIT!" They are obviously a couple who have not been out in the world much - somebody needs to sit them down and explain that LIFE IS NOT FAIR! in fact it can totally suck sometimes, so you better enjoy the good stuff while it's happening.
End of rant..
That said, WHEW that the cowboys weren't eliminated. They've really grown on me. But, PLEASE start reading the clues!!

So I was checking the Tri Delta website yesterday and right there on the front page was Allie (of Steve & Allie). She's a Tri Delta from Pepperdine. I have my new favorite team.

And the lame speedbump returned last night with the coin tossing. What did that take, 3 minutes? Way lame.
I did rally like Brent for a while last night, what with his enjoying being in China and his observations at the temple. But then there was the whole potty break thing. (I guess one person can't work on the detour if the teammate isn't there?)
Meanwhile, the brothers raced an absolutely awful leg. They walked around looking for the Garden Bridge for 2 hours before piggy-backing on the detectives?
The cowboys better win next week.

It seemed like she was allowed to keep looking if he wasn't present, but he wanted her to. And I am so pissed the brothers beat out the cops. The standing statues is what got the detectives.

That's cool! I really like Tri Delta's front page with the rotating stories. Okay, bonus points for Allie & Steve
For those who may be interested, here's the article:
