I really like A Greek Concept ( www.agreekconcept.com) and Gone Greek (gonegreek.com). They are both reasonable cheap, great quality, and awesome service.
Gone Greek even called me once when they were making a tote bag for me to tell me the Vera Bradley Pattern I picked out didn't look fabulous on the blue fabric. They then sent me pictures of color combos they liked better so I could pick out a cute bag.

Just for the record, I ordered my Little Bros first blocks from GreekClothing.com the week before Christmas hoping that it wouldn't arrive until now-ish. Of course, this is probably the one time that it sent immediately and has probably been in the security office for the past 2 weeks.
btw, I sent it to my address in Michigan (I'm in Texas atm) b/c I didn't want his Letters to show up in Texas and then have to wait another month for my parents to forward.
I got an amazing deal for a sweatshirt and t shirt, though. It totaled to like $35.

I placed an order on November 24th and still have not gotten it! I sent them five emails and called over a dozen times and nobody ever replies. Finally I opened up a dispute through PayPal last night and today I got the email from them that my order had shipped. The only thing is that I placed another order in December and it looks like they shipped that one and not the earlier one that I placed. We'll have to see how this one turns out...

By the way, I recommend using universityconnection.net for your Greek apparel needs. I ordered a new lettered sweatshirt from them last week and already received it in the mail today and they look great. It is not as cheap as greekclothing.com but definitely more trustworthy.

I order over $300 worth of merchandise from them on November 29th, today, January 25th, I have not heard anything from them. At least I didn't get a fake tracking number like some people have, from what i've heard. I try calling them but it goes straight into voice mail. I have left them several messages and emails and nothing. I tried disputing the transaction through paypal but they can't help me because it has been over 45 days since the transaction. And yet, they still have the audacity to keep sending me freaking coupons! THEY SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT OF BUSINESS ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

http://www.greekave.com/Merchant2/me...tore_Code=1111 This page is full of lies.
I ordered clothes a month and a half ago... Emailed and called today... Their voicemail was full... let's see how this goes.

Greekclothing.com is rediculous. I am not great at creating websites or anything but I think someone should create some sort of website warning others about greekclothing.com. This website should have an area where people can post their experiences with greekclothing.com so they are all in one place if we need them for evidence in court or something. All I know is we sent a company called "affinity-consultants.com" who are also affiliated I believe with Greeklicensing.com and greekquote.com a message about Greekclothing.com from our headquarters and they replied saying basically that their agreements have been terminated. Basically from what I can tell that means they are no longer licensed to sell greek clothing. Affinity Consultants sent them a message regarding the issue and they were not responded to, the next step is going to be legal action against the company. I have a feeling the company owes upwards of a few thousand dollars at least to people who they have not sent merchandise to.
So I don't know what everyone wants to do next. Obviously even though greekclothing.com has been informed that they are no longer licensed, they don't care. I still receive their stupid coupons almost every day and they still have the Greek Licensing logo at the bottom of their website.
Does anyone think creating a website or forum or something would be a good idea or helpful to our case? I just want to see everyone who was ripped off get their money back and greekclothing.com shut down so they can no longer take advantage of people!!!

Are you KIDDING ME?! They do not care about customer satisfaction one bit, which we all know from the fact that they don't return calls or e-mails, they don't send merchandise (which is their job...), they don't even do the minimum when it comes to customer service, let alone go above and beyond. 99.7% customer satisfaction rate? That is obviously a made up statistic... I would believe it if they said 99.7% customer DISSATISFACTION rate....and punctuality...obviously not since many people aren't receiving their orders for months if at all....

You need to let it go. This thread is enough.

Obviously it isn't. People are still ordering from them every day...and getting ripped off every day. Obviously you didn't get over $200 dollars basically stolen from you, so I can understand how you don't care. However, many of us did get ripped off and don't want to see it happen to other people.

OBVIOUSLY you have an axe to grind, as all but one of your posts on this site are about greekclothing.com. They suck. We get it. When people google greekclothing.com, they will find a link to this site seeing how many other people dislike them. Do you know how many hits greekchat gets for the most mundane topics alone? A LOT. Mission accomplished, okay?
Some people keep ordering from them because at one point they were a very good company -- they were for me. And then they messed up one of my orders and I never got a replacement for it. And you know what?
I got over it.
I will probably be ripped off more times in my life than that. There are a lot of better things to do with my time than try to dismantle somebody a business. I let people know how I feel and support the businesses that I like.
If all you're going to do is basically come here to spam us about how much you hate this one particular site and try to promote another site, that is really a testament to how little else you have going on with your life.
And, pretty sure it would be considered spam by GC, so tread lightly.

While you are 30 years old and have many experiences in life and I'm sure with different Greek clothing companies, I am only 20 and am new to the Greek community and am still learning and maturing. Maybe I am not handling this situation in quite the way you would have and maybe I am holding a grudge that you would have let go by this point. Maybe I am young and naive, and don't want to believe that companies can get away with taking advantage of so many people, and maybe I feel like somehow I can help others in my situation while also helping myself and preventing others from getting ripped off, which I guess is not the case.
|
Um, you work at your IHQ, but you're only 20 and still new to the Greek community?
Look, something doesn't quite line up here...

I don't see what does not line up. I was initiated during spring semester 2009 so I have only been in the sorority for almost a year. I am only an intern at IHQ and all interns are collegians.
Anyway, thank you for accepting my apology.

I am not sure which site you think I am trying to promote because I have only ordered from greekclothing.com it was the first place I ever ordered letters from and I was ripped off. So obviously I am left here with a sour taste in my mouth regarding them, and I am cautious about ordering from anywhere else. I also feel like I should not spend any more of my money on letters until I get paid back by greekclothing.com. I'm not sure this would be considered spamming considering the whole thread is about greekclothing.com... Yes this thread is pretty much the only one I post on, and very rarely at that because I do have a life. Notice how the time between my last post (January 7) and my first post today was a few weeks, that shows how much time I spend on Greek Chat. However, I don't know when you find much time to have a life considering you have over 10,000 posts on this forum. Which normally I would not judge someone about, but since you felt the need to attack me on my 11, now 12, posts that I have posted to this site saying I have no life...
Anyway, I post on this topic because it is something I care strongly about, I am not here to cause drama, or "demantle somebody a business". I understand people get ripped off regularly, and every once in a while a company messes up, no one can be perfect. However, the situation with this company is not that, they are ripping off hundreds of people regularly. They have no right to be in business any longer.

You don't get to decide who gets to be in business, thankfully.
You need some help with either your short-term memory -- you JUST said you were considering starting a website or forum to promote your anti-greekclothing.com mission. Since the majority of your posts have been anti-greekclothing.com and now you want to start a site about this, I don't see how your posts haven't been leading to such a site, therefore being spam.
Slow-moving spam, but spam nonetheless.
If you have such a life, I beg you to go back to it.
