I consider it a respectable GPA..... this is an ENTIRELY different topic, but I do believe people of color attending certain colleges will have a harder time gaining a high GPA for several reasons:
1) Inadequate preparation from under-resourced schools.
2) Lingering institutional racism (and/or sexism for the women of color) from various schools and departments.
3) Joining a lot of clubs which promote race unity and instill an obligation of participation -- basically doing things you feel you NEED to do rather than things that will help you academically
All three of those factors affected my GPA at some point in my college career. Not saying that it's the same for everyone, but it would have been fine at my school.

Plus the OP has a baby and may be a single mother.
1) I wonder why the National HQ FAQ didn't touch on that. 2) I wonder why there is no chapter that she has interacted with so that she could figured this stuff out. If she hadn't been so lazy with her OP and had thought about 1) and 2), we would not be here now.

I have a membership related question for the "Fake Deltas" on GC:
If an aspirant types "Delta" in CAPS every time, does that help them toward their aspiration?

She's still preaching to us. It's always funny when aspirants know so little and suddenly know so much when their question isn't answered.
That's the formula for the Eternal Aspirant. With God, THAT is always possible.

It's "a part," not "apart." They have opposite meanings.
Although if you show the Deltas you actually know anything approaching the attitude you've shown here, I have no doubt that your dreams of being apart from Delta will be realized.

I really do enjoy reading getting everyones feedback here on GC..I knew posting the very first thread that I would receive alot of criticisms some constructive, some not so much, AGAIN I did NOT call anyone out on here about NOT being a DELTA, I said SOME on here were questionable because this is the Internet and until we meet face to face, I will not assume that EVERYONE on GC claiming to be a DELTA is in fact a DELTA, but I will respect them. And about me being on here at 3 a.m it's because nothing comes to a SLEEPER but a DREAM I type in caps to make myself clear, because it seems as though some people cant understand me when the caps are off.. I have so much respect for the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta and like I said this is no way shape or form intended to disrespect ANYONE...I read "A Torch to Guide You" way before I signed up for GC and the question had nothing to do with intake, it was just a question about my situation, I didnt ask about what to wear or not to wear or who should I talk to because I've been through that already, and further more I've done my research, im not saying I know everything there is ALWAYS more to be learned but no one can assume what the next person knows or doesn't know..and a 3.2 gpa at my school is VERY good..Im not arrogant like I said with GOD all things are POSSIBLE, and I am a VERY firm believer that what is for YOU, is for YOU! MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL...
