sorry i forgot to update, i've just been really busy these past two days enjoying sorority life.

PREF NIGHT
pocahontas- i went to pocahontas first, and there are a lot of girls i have met here over the various rounds and gotten along with, so i wasn't completely sure who would be meeting me at the door. but i was really happy to see that the person i most identified with in pocahontas was the one waiting for me with a flower and some dessert. she gave me a really sweet letter, and the conversation was very relaxed and easy. she also told me that last year on pref night, she had been choosing between pocahontas and mulan as well. my first reaction was that i thought it was weird that she knew the other house i was preffing at, as i hadn't told her. but nevertheless, my pref round here made me unsure of which house to choose. i really loved the girls i had gotten to know at pocahontas and knew that i could be a proud member of the chapter.

mulan- there was not a doubt in my mind about who would be meeting me at this house, and i was right! i absolutely love this girl, so of course everything about the night was very relaxed and enjoyable. i always feel so comfortable in this house and all the older girls are so much fun to get to know. there was also the added benefit of one of my best friends preffing this house and having already told me that she was going to rank mulan as number 1. by the time the round ended, i was sad to leave mulan.

i really had a hard time deciding between pocahontas and mulan at the post office. i enlisted the help of some panhel members and my rc, who couldn't really do much since they couldn't tell me which house to choose. after what felt like forever and everyone had left, i finally decided to rank in the following order:

1.mulan
2.pocahontas

but even after i left, i was still really torn with my decision. and on my way out of the building where we did post office that night, i was literally in tears.

now that everything is all done and over with, i could not be happier with my choice. i will always still love both houses and the girls in them, but i have found where i belong. and so, i am proud to tell you that i am a new member of...
