The Pantone Hotel is how I found the site! The next move was obviously to check flights to Brussels.

Bump!

I want a new, large rug that is nice but doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I've looked at all of the usual places and I'm wondering if anyone has any go-to sources for rugs that I may not be thinking of. Thanks!

I bought my rug at Cost Plus for about $150, which was a lot cheaper than similar rugs at Home Depot and the local furniture stores.

Their website is worldmarket.com (for those of us who don't know from Cost Plus).

I actually got some decent area rugs from Target. It depends what kind of material you want.

I got a good sized rug for our living room at Bed Bath and Beyond for around $40 last year. I looked at the clearance rugs and used a 20% off coupon.

there are usually decent rugs at costco and sams. some carpet/flooring stores sell area rugs, and you might be able to catch a sale. furniture stores usually sell area rugs.

You can also custom design your own. Flor is high quality and can be done on the cheap depending on the type of tiles you select.

I was so frustrated today! I was at Joann Fabrics and ALL of their household fabrics are half off. I have a chair that I want to recover, and I stood there, no measurements whatsoever and steam coming out of my ears! GRRRRRR!!!!

I love them. I want to make a larger version, but I'm trying to see how it would fit in with the rest of my interior.
