It's worth it....I finished the DVD this weekend.
My observations..... Noah was more butch in the original pilot. Also, while the original pilot was good, it had more of a "film" feel to it.
Saw the audition tapes.....Noah is a DAMN good actor in real life. He plays straight really well.
Deleted scenes..... I am starting to think Patrik Ian Polk shoots two of every scene on purpose...one for the network, and one for the DVD. Lots of bootay shown. But it wasn't gratuitous.
LOVE Eddie and Chance together, all in all. I felt like Eddie was really genuine. (He also reminds me of an ex
)
In some of the deleted scenes, you see better why Trey was so pressed to go to South Africa and take a break from Alex. Alex just wasn't appreciating Trey like he needed to.
LOVED the interaction with Ricky and Junito..... Ricky is a damn fine actor himself and I was so mad at him for how he did Junito.
And who knew lil Wilson Cruz was gonna lose all that baby fat from My So-Called Life??
So mad at Noah for going to that sex party.....however, Malik was hot. Where do I know him from?
I can't be too mad at Wade for kirking out about the situation though....
I don't like how Noah's hairstyle be changing three times per episode. And what was with the bone straight relaxer at the wedding AND that ridiculous outfit???? He looked like Prince meets Pirates of the Caribbean!!!
And finally.....I love how Noah's Arc uses some of the classic old school actors like Renaldo Ray and Garrett Morris. Loved their roles.
OH YEAH....one more thing....
GERT is my new favorite word!
"Noah, where's your brown sugar i need some brown sugar GERT!"
LOLOLOL I was rolling all weekend on that word alone.
