too true...but USC also made some REALLY dumb mistakes...they deserved to lose

Vince Young single handidly won it on his own, one of the best single player performances I have ever seen. If he ends up going pro, how could he not be the first pick?
I had no rooting interest in the game but was glad to see the game live up to its hype for once.

Young dominated.
I think vegas spreads were 7 on sc. Reminds me of every time I thought the Yankees or Duke had it clutch.

Well Michigan fans still can't quit b*tching over the bad officiating, not realizing they still would of lost with the best officiating. Lets hope USC doesn't do the same.

Michigan fans that I know including myself were either embarassed to be in a bowl like that or disinterested because 8-4 or 7-5 makes no difference. Bad season for the wolverines either way, that game was no different than most of their losses in that they couldn't finish a freaking game

Interesting. When Nebraska was embarrased to have a similar season in 2000 and be in a "bad" bowl, we whooped up on Northwestern *proving* why we belonged in a better bowl. As I recall, it's the biggest bowl win ever, still.

Yeah I'm with you on this one. Even my diehard Michigan fans were way embarrassed. I'm a Michigan Wolverine and I haven't heard ONE person complain about the officiating of that game.
I agree USC made a lot of mistakes.... but they got robbed. Sorry.
True score: 38-35, USC
sidenote: I'm not a fan of either, so this isn't a case of a fan complaining.
