Is that the one with the overweight teen parents, or was that a rerun?

I think that was the overweight couples' daughter's name.

My sentiments exactly. They gave her essentially the same name twice.
I hope their last name is not Leroy or Lehigh or Lee or something like that.

The one with the baby named Bentley:
Being 16 and engaged or married? Yikes.
Imagine being "stuck with" the man or even type of man that you liked or loved at 16? LOL. Nightmare for ME, at least!!!

I wish people would realize that when two people have a child together there's now a link to that person forever, even if you break up or get divorced. Hell, even if that person has no interest in the child their family might, and their family may be cray cray in the hay hay.

Exactly, but that does not a marriage at 16 make. (poor sentence structure? LOL)
I'm just realizing that I've seen this rerun before. I didn't catch the beginning before.

The older I get the less I see a reason for marriage that isn't legal or religious. I can love someone without marrying them, but I have to marry them (in most cases) for health insurance and other economic benefits. My faith is pretty open so I could "live in sin" and attend services, even though certain members brand me a hussy.
I think back to when I was 16 and I am trying to figure out all the things that prevented me from being in the same situation as the kids on this show, that is still preventing me from being the legal adult version of these kids. I knew my parents would love me and support me, but at the moment I can't think of any other phrase but ruining my life.

So I was flipping channels the other day and I just happened to land on an episode of this show. The girl's mother was blaming the boyfriend's mom for allowing her daughter to sleep over/share a bed. But I found it more telling that the girl's mother said it was the first time she had me the boyfriends mother at the baby shower/picnic thing. Their kids had been dating for 2 1/2 years and it took a pregnancy for them to meet? I don't have kids but to me that seem's like a red flag.

Someone I dated had a cousin who never told anyone he was going to be a father. I am not sure how they kept this hush hush in a small town in Idaho. His mom didn't know she was a grandmother until the other grandmother called and told her. This person had a list of dumb things behind them involving alcohol, drugs, vehicles, and just plain ol' DUMB.

Anyone watch the most recent episode?
It was slightly funny and sad that she cried while she was looking for a prom dress because none of them fit and then said "This baby is changing EVERYTHING!" I mean, it's not like they make maternity prom dresses. Did you expect to be able to go in there and just have your pick of them like you did when you were skinny?
I did feel badly because she seemed to have alot of plans for her life before the baby showed up. She was in JROTC and on track to enlist in the Air Force when she got pregnant. Then she ended up having to quit, and didn't even earn enough credit to graduate (due to missing so much school taking care of the baby).
It sucks because babydaddy (as usual) didn't seem like the brightest crayon in the box. I think she says he DOES end up enlisting though, although that's kind of sad because she gets to be 17 and raising a kid living with her mom.

I watched it.
If he isn't the brightest crayon in the box, she picked him, so...LOL.
The whole show, I kept saying "abstinence or wrap it up TIGHTLY, kids."

EXACTLY.
Yeah, if you PICK a "not so bright" crayon, then I think you (by default) are a "not so bright" crayon.
I was always told: "If you're having sex and not doing anything to protect yourself, you must want a baby because that's exactly what you'll get (well, that and a nice STD)."

HAHA. Maybe. My mom used to say it, and I always wanted to ask her how an STD was nice.
Oh and I also wonder what types of parents that boy had for allowing him to miss that much school.
Also, I know it's harder for the girl to get to school because of the baby, but I still don't think there's any excuse for that. I'm surprised her parents didn't insist that she find a sitter or something during the day so she could go.
