Anywhere specifically in Al? I'm a Freshman at AU, and although I've only been here for a few weeks, I know about 3 girls in AGD, and 1 in Phi Mu. There are a few posters on here that have daughters of their own/daughter's of family friends in these two sororities.

My point is that if whack job missed the composite, they should have printed her name on the bottom. Her excuse is n.g.

We had a girl who missed the composite shot all four years. (Something always came up the day we did composites.... even if it was before or after mandatory events ).
However, her name was listed under "Not Pictured" at the bottom of the composite all four years.

I am sure this does happen, but it has to be rare. I'm not familiar with any such case with Chi Omega. Anyone who serves as a collegiate advisor is checked out by HQ. Of course, a random imposter could probably sneak in to help serve punch during a pref party!
I think it's crazy -- some chapters have such a difficult time getting alumnae to serve and here's someone who is willing, but not even a member!

This person actually moved into the chapter house during recruitment! She MUST be stopped, and some sort of suit filed. She could have been a female Ted Bundy!

If she's perping ADPi and is a potential harm to her members (collegians and alumnae alike) why hasn't anyone outed her here yet?
If she's supposedly interested in my organization now...I'd like to know. Put this sick woman on blast. Who cares about her privacy? That was thrown out the window when she decided she didn't want to leave the ADPis alone!

I feel like determining if someone was an actual alumni or not would be easier than this. I know ritual knowledge floats around among some non-Greeks, but to me it seems like asking the person in question knowledge about initiation rituals, and grips would be a good way to determine the legitimacy of the person. I know some could pick up that knowledge, but I don't think most would go through the trouble of getting the details down.

I know that I can search sisters on our national website for members. Do other groups not offer anything like this? I've met a few people who told me they were Phi Mus and even though I'm trusting, I ran their names through the Bloom to double check.
I would imagine that in with the level of technology involved in everyone's daily lives that online searchable databases would be the norm, not the exception.

We've had an online directory for several years now.
Even before Sister Search was readily accessible, verifying one's membership was as easy as sending a message to IHQ with her information.

Wow, I don't log on here for almost a year and see what I miss?! Man, that is so wrong. I had to send in paperwork to IHQ a few years ago before I could help out a collegiate chapter.

It's just sad that this has become necessary and that you can't trust someone that you may be your sister at their word.
I just don't understand what someone can get out of a phony alum status. And in this situation by presenting one's self to actives. It just seems beyond weird to the level of serious mental illness. I hope this lady gets the help she probably desperately needs.

I'm so super confused now.
How does THIS even happen when the collegians KNOW she's a perp?
Even if she were an actal member, I'd assume that (like Sigma) alumnae aren't supposed to be just hanging around chapter facilities and living there during recruitment (just as a safety issue.)
And can we stop dancing around and name names? lol.
