And my brother and sister in law were married by a priest in a park (outdoor ceremonies are supposed to be a big Catholic no-no).

Both of my kids are late December babies, and Lent started in February. Had to plan around my moms work schedule, plus Godparents schedule (we live 2-4 hours away from all of our family), and our church wouldn't do more than 4 on a Sunday. Which put us into Lent, and therefore after Lent. Both kids were about 4 months. No biggie.
The outside the church thing typically comes down to the bishop. So of course if the bishop's less particular he grants more permissions.

I love fire and ice roses but I'm afraid too many of them in one place with make a "swirl effect" like Creme Savers candy.

Like this: http://uniquecreationsbylisa.com/sho...dalbouquet.jpg

But it's done tastefully here: http://www.pearlriverflorist.com/ima...mages/0033.jpg

(Pics too big to post.)

Christiangirl, that second bouquet is absolutely artistic and I'm glad you were able to pick out the difference in the 2! I used peppermint carnations in my wedding but there's such thing as too much of a good thing so I tempered them with red carnations, Christmas balls, and evergreens.

KSU, those autumn flowers are in credible and FSUZeta is right!

I kind of love those, not going to lie. The simpler bouquets, like the first, third, and fourth, are probably the most my style.
