I am excited for both of you. Your daughter found her home away from home and I have no doubt that her new AOPi sister's love her because she is one special young lady!
But you my sister have a the honor of sharing your experience as a mom going through recruitment with your daughter. This is wonderful and I know that you will be able to offer encouragement and words of wisdom to all the parents who will read your blog. I can't wait for your post!

I found these pictures of your daughter's pledge class and chapter:
This is only the "Beta" pledge class.

I'm not much of a crier, and it's early in the morning, but I've got tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat.
Beautiful words your daughter wrote, and they came from her heart; what a tribute to you, to ZTA, and to the concept of Panhellenic community. I absolutely adore my AOII friends and your daughter has joined a wonderful sisterhood. Best to you both and I can't wait to see your blog!

I have a sister who cries when I'm blue.
I know that she'll be there if ever I need her.
I know that our friendship is true.

Thanks for the pictures. My daughter is holding the O. I went up to school today and visited with her and picked some items out of the Emporium for a wish list. There is one shirt that was there that I have as a ZTA one, so I am getting that for her so we have the same shirt with our letters on it.
I am glad to see such a strong chapter developing in such a short time. Way to go AOII!
The original question that started this thread was divided loyalties. I do not feel that at all. We have practice combining our hand signs-the crown and Alpha love signs. And we are making one continuous car decal overlapping the A's. So it now reads "ZTAOII" People will be driving behind us going "huh?" LOL

Cute! I'm glad you saw that she is happy. I guess that's all you can hope for if you can't have her in your own sorority. Which shirt did you get her from emporium?

Overlapping the car decals is a hoot! What a great idea. Please take a photo & post.

I just read it and I'm saying thank you all over again. I might even get brave and post a comment. Congratulations!
