I have a late breaking one for Ole Miss. I hope the recruitment chairs will still look at it because she's an amazing girl

Results are awfully slow coming in . . . thus far:

1 - Kappa Delta

Georgia

I'll have more later, I HOPE.

I had a lovely, long note from my rec gal, letting me know she'd received a bid from her third choice, which she declined to accept. I'm so sad for her, because she is top notch. I've encouraged her to strongly consider the Sigma Kappa colonization next year, when she'll be a junior.
I know we've discussed it before, but getting your third of three is tough, when you have two other groups you've bonded with at a stronger level.
*sigh* Wish I could have talked to her before she made the decision.

I agree, Sciencewoman. And since she did list all three of her preference chapters, she is not eligible for pledging another group for a year.
Many campuses are changing to 2 preference choices rather than 3, even when they have more than 15 NPC groups.

My Clemson rec girl was released from recruitment before the third round As an out-of-state sophomore rerushing with few friends in sororities she wasn't shocked, but I do feel bad for her. I'm encouraging her to explore COB and see if something works out with the chapters she got further with.
Waiting for my other rec girl to officially announce where she's headed at Texas Tech but I've heard good things

I shared both of those things with her. I really think that getting your second of two is much easier than getting your third of three -- that just hurts.

Queen City Crew is all done! Here are results:
Alabama girl went Pi Beta Phi
Florida State girl went Delta Delta Delta
South Carolina girls - one went Kappa Kappa Gamma and one Gamma Phi Beta
Clemson - withdrew after Round 2....I had no idea that a Bridge student would be released this badly. She had ridiculous releases after Round 1 considering she had good grades and activities and is an overall awesome girl. I felt terrible as I would have prepped her if I had any idea this would happen. Oh and we had recs for each group...lesson learned but I still feel awful this happened.
