Lets pray for the families of the Comair flight 5191 crash victims. I know it touches me because I'm a flight attendant on the CRJ series aircraft and I know what was going through their minds at the time and how scary it is everytime we land or take off. I found out about the accident when I was getting the aircraft ready to go to NYC and it was pretty scary because that is the plane I'm on everyday and I know how it is taking off first thing in the morning. We may have had sisters or someone we know on the aircraft. So maybe just add them in your prayers tonight.

I think that's a wonderful idea. Whether we know anyone or are sisters with anyone on the flight, the people on that flight could have been any of us who ever fly. My heart & prayers go out to them, their families and anyone who will be flying those planes in the immediate future.

being in lexington, i'm hearing so many crazy stories about this. this infuriates me so much because if it were mechanical error, it'd be one thing, but this was SO PREVENTABLE.

also, without having to disclose the reasons, can i simply ask for your prayers that my situation works out as I need it to.

I know that people on here that care but the dream condo that I put an offer on, turns out to have a terminte problem. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things work out and the sellers agree to fixing the problem but so far its been up in the air. This whole buying process has been so stressful I really dont want to go through it again.

Ouch! That IS horrible! I surely understand how stressed you must feel, and will pray that the problem is fixed before you signed on the dotted line! The two most stressful things (IMHO) to buy are homes and cars!

I havent signed yet and Im waiting to hear about from the Home Owners Association to see what they will do. Its an attached condo so fumigating will affect others who live in the same complex and so it is the HOA's responsibility to take care of the problem. I'm just not 100% convinced that they will be able to take care of all this by Sept 15th (my estimated closing date) and I wont sign on the dotted line unless its taken care of.

Thank heavens!! I'm half-heartedly condo shopping myself, and that's one thing that scares me - neighbors with "critters". *shudder*

I actually found EXACTLY what I want, where I want it, but the workmanship is SO shoddy, I refuse to pay the price they're asking for it. You can literally see outside from under the door, and even though our climate is pretty decent, they're built on slabs, not even with crawl space!

I've been praying for some guidance/direction/a sign on a certain matter. Have been getting a feeling about which way to go... At the co picnic today, tarot reader said that I should change a certain situation, that it has become burdensome, taking up too much energy and it's time to let go. I don't know if she was really psychic or not, but isn't it still possible that she's the means by which I'm getting the answer to my prayers?

A year ago today (Saturday) my grandmother died. A year ago to the day tomorrow she died. So this weekend is going to especially tough for all of us as we deal.
