As John appeared to be MIA, I had considered the possibility of something like this, too, and I was hoping it wouldn't be the case. No matter how annoying the spam is, I would never wish ill on someone or his family.

I am happy to volunteer as an additional person to delete the spam posts! I typically log onto GreekChat at the very end of my day and lately the whole first page is full of spam. Please let me know how I can help!

I wish I could help clean up the spam posts. Being in the timezone I'm in, it would be easy for me to keep everything looking nice for when everyone wakes up in the morning!

Many, many, many of us have offered to help. It looks like John, who is MIA, is the only one that can grant that authority. Without privileges to deal with spam, no one else can help.

I think the answer is right here in front of us…GC needs to hire a “black magic specialist” to get rid of all the spam on the forums!

Indeed. The spam is out of control. I'd be more than willing to grab my pulse pistol and get rid of some of the spam posts ... except I'm about one pulse pistol short of having a pulse pistol. All I can do is keep the AEPhi forum clear.

Ditto here on all of the above, but I can keep the AOII forum clear. The mods are doing what we can, but many of us only have permissions in our individual GLO subforums. I'm sure most everyone knows this, but just in case thought I'd mention again.

Wow, there's a giant new batch of spam tonight. Although if one of the phone number spam messages was for a spell to nuke spammers forever, I'd be OK with that.
