Ok cool. My bad then. Thought you were posting to me. No apologies from you to me necessary. I apologize to you for my response.

Yes, cheerleaders are needed. It takes a lot to be a cheerleader.

When I cheered in grade school, I started going to cheerleading summer camp every summer. Plus, camp, with my gymnastics experience really helped me to make the team all through high school and part of college. I only cheered for a little over two years in college though, due to my school work.

Oh, and my tumbling skills were awesome. I was like one of the only cheerleaders on the team in 8th grade and through high school that could throw a round off back handspring pass. I wasn’t captain for nothing ya know.

Don’t mess with us Phrozen Sands, you will lose.
Lol I believe you, CG. You win. What the hell does it mean to “throw a round off back handspring pass”? Sounds like a crazy, new pass play from a QB. They actually have a cheerleading camp? Lmao

I was trying to find a good tutorial one for you to see, but I couldn’t find one. This is what it is though.

Yep. I loved it. I learned so much. And then, you don’t have to try out to go to camp. So, they’re great for getting you better with your cheer techniques, which really helps during tryouts.

Hey Phrozen, we’re doing the best we can. Your posts made me think - I am no grammar police, I was venting and didn’t read the room, as they say. Not passive aggressive, more full frontal assault is my style. I am reading this thread and finding the convos pretty funny, actually. Next time I will be sure to think and read before whining!

It’s cool. It’s not your fault though, AZTheta. That was all me being an ass. You just posted what you felt like saying. You didn’t quote me, which I should have recognized. I like that in you though, that you’re a full frontal assault person Lol. That’s the only way to be. Come around more often and talk shit with us.

Here’s the question, CG. Can you still do that? Lol

What’d they have you do to make the squad? You had to do all those flips?

People everywhere:

for you and your family's own sake, PUT TOGETHER A PERSONAL EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PLAN. NOW.

Please assume, based on many years of previous responses, that ANY emergency situation such as the recent hurricanes WILL CAUSE DELAYED RESPONSES to your dire emergency need.

THIS IS NORMALLY DUE TO MOTHER NATURE, NOT THE RESPONSE.

You really should know how to help yourself, before others can get to you and help you. Should you have the time/ability, help your neighbors during the situation's aftermath. This purpose may help keep your mind off any troubles you have, while you assist others.

(I write from over a decade of experiencing emergency situations in our little corner of the globe.)

The VP debate was boring as hell. All Walz did was talk about how great Minnesota is. All Vance talked about was how bad he thinks Kamala Harris is.

Didn't actually watch, just closed eyes and listened; more tolerable/easier to concentrate on the Q&A. Enjoyed the sly fact checks.

What were your thoughts? I didn’t think either one of them really said anything worth hearing or watching.

Be careful what you ask for, I can definitely do so. Let me get up to speed. FYI I am in agreement with you and Pretty Boy politically IF I am reading posts correctly. Do you get or have you heard of the blog “letter from Margaret and Helen” ?

Full frontal saves me from suffering fools. Most people bring a water pistol to a fight. Not me.

That’s been like 20 years since I’ve done that, but I’ve done it so many times, I think I can still do it.

I had to fill out an application and a physical form. They gave us a tryout number that we had to pin to our shirts. And then, tryouts would go on for like three or four days. Somewhere around that.

No, tumbling wasn’t required back then. It’s just that if you knew how to tumble, that pretty much got you on the team. So, that was a plus.

Really? Did you watch the same debate I watched?

Ahem… well, Minnesota is awesome. I mean, Minnesota is better than most states. We’re ranked in the top 5 for best places to raise a family out of all 50 states. I was born and raised here and I’m proud of my state. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. Don’t hate.

But that’s not the point. Walz won that debate because he had substance, he was relatable, and he went into that debate to show himself, to show the country and the world who he really is. And to me, he showed himself to be bipartisan, reasonable, practical, and more importantly, he also acted as a governor. Honestly, his job is to sell Kamala Harris as president which is exactly what he did. Frankly, I think he did that very well.

Vance lied throughout the entire debate.
