How about it being unfair to be in the Big XII south while truely awful teams like Nebraska and Missouri get to contend for our league championship??

Dear Idaho Vandals,
I'm not sure if you knew it or not, but we did indeed have a game against Hawaii last Saturday night. It looks like you didn't bother to show up, or perhaps hired some people to play in your place while you kicked it on the beach. WTF happened after the Boise Junior College game? Don't be the most whack team in the WAC.

Peace Out,

VandalSquirrel

Kevin, but come on man, any division can look crappy over a stretch of time, I'm sure nobody planned on Nebraska being mediocre for long. Also, Colorado and Kansas St have both been good programs. I don't think its that terrible, but I think trading A&M for Iowa St. or something would be reasonable (although it wouldnt make too much geographic sense).

I agree but that money looks nice to those that have title games.

Yeah, I agree.....but I also see what Shiner is saying. If the North was good the past couple years like they have been in the past it would all even out...but for now, it does suck for the South division when a win or a loss to a particular team pretty much seals your fate in going to a BCS or the Cotton/Holiday Bowl.

....on a side note......I just saw some preliminary bowl predictions and they had us in the Fiesta Bowl against BOISE STATE!!! I know they have a good program.....but c'mon. They had Oklahoma against LSU in the Cotton Bowl and I would honestly rather play in that game if it came down to it.

Mac, I agree on the Cotton. I'd rather play Texas/Oklahoma or even A&M then play Iowa or Wisconsin in the Outback/Capital One...I saw someone picked Auburn to play Boston College in the Orange Bowl, and I'm not too pleased about that either.

Well, I just watched an insanely overrated WVU team get their ass kicked.......and Louisville didn't impress me either. Having absolutely no resemblance of a defense isn't a good thing.

Yeah I mean I'm biased but that was ridiculous. I was actually feeling bad for WV/Lville and the prospect of missing the BCS champ game, but not now. I can't believe Herbstreit was actually saying things like, "Lville's defense played surprisingly well" and "some people may nitpick about the performance on defense..." THEY GAVE UP LIKE 540 YARDS!

Yeah, there was over 1100 yards of offense combined. Kirk Herbstreit is an idiot. God knows what the score would have been if Slayton actually would have played the whole game.

When your ranked number five in the nation and beat another ranked team at home you do not tear down your own goalposts. If you’re number five, you do that for no one.

I've never been so thankful to no longer live in my hometown than I am this morning. They actually tore down the goalposts?

Go Wolverines, Go Longhorns, Go Bucks (never thought I'd post that, but Go Anyone and Everyone else but Louisville!)

Yeah Auburn tore down the goalposts in 2001, and I didn't like it then. Granted, we were unranked and UF was number 1, but hopefully it'll never happen again.

I've seen goalposts torn down in home stadiums on a number of occassions.

It often has more to due with alcohol than athletic feats.
