That doesn't surprise me. With all of the publicity they got and all of the rotations the video is getting on MTV and BET, I expect that album to be NUMBER ONE next week. Though I am curious, I just can't do it . . . I can't buy that album after the way that group showed their tails during these last two seasons of Making The Band. Yes, they were entertaining, but there was a very clown-like, coon nature to the way they amused me. Yep, I'll watch them show up and show out, but I just can't bring myself to purchase the album they made.

Well, I bought the CD and it is rather nice. Actually, it is in heavy rotation. Some of the songs are of the chain and I am happy about my purchase. It's better than I expected.

I agree w/ RedefinedDiva, the cd sounds fine to me. I think what's happening is a bad side effect from us being able to see them as "real people" and we feel as if we know them. You wouldn't freak over somebody you know, so some people aren't freaking over them b/c we think we know them & we've seen them at their lowest (cheesecake). I say give them a chance. They literally came off the streets & we saw they didn't have a smooth transition. All in all I like the cd

Actually, I think I might go out and get it for myself. The radio station has played 'Bad Boy This, Bad Boy That' about a billion times and it's growing on me. Chopper and Fred are still nasty though.

Da Band was on TRL the other day and Puffy made a call to wish them luck. He also said that the CD was in a battle for #1 on the charts.

i bought it
i was skeptical because on the show, i didn't see or hear too much that would tickle my fancy but after hearing so many positive reviews, i decided to buy it and i must say that it is a VERY good album. i'm digging 17 out of the 18 (intereludes included). "they know" lags a bit but 17 out of 18 is a winner!

Nobody jump me for this, but Chopper is starting to look kinda cute to me the more and more I see him on TV. He looks cleaner too!
