Just to name a few:
Chilifest
Buc Days
Fiesta Oyster Bake
Larry Joe Taylor's Texas Music Festival and Chili Cookoff
Texas Crawfish and Music Festival
Robert Earl Keen's Texas Uprising
I'm not sure about oysterbake, but I will be hitting a couple of parades, NIOSA, and some other events. I've had my parade tickets quite a while, thanks to my insider. King Antonio and his crew will make a stop at my school also. I can't wait!! Viva Fiesta!

If you're down, I can make some calls. Hopefully this year we wont get soaked. You know I'm down for the VIP section with the picnic, and you talking smack about the bands. You have to leave the middle school bands alone. Those kids are only 12 geez... lol.

HAving my sisters birthday in Dallas this year and she wanted to have it at a Mexican food joint. I laid down the law and said we had to bust out with some El Fenix! If its mexican food in Dallas, its got to be El Fenix.

Guess I can be considered a naturalized citizen of the Republic of Texas... 10 outta 10 right!

But that still won't make me cheer for the Shorthorns... BOOMER SOONER!

Hmm...
Varsity Blues lied to me. I thought the official sport of Texas was football.

And I thought the Texas state bird was Ann Hutchinson...
