I'll pray for mercy on you and yours because that is just awful. I won't say I'm sorry for your loss because I'm sure you'll hear it many more times, but your family will make it through this. I hope that you all may find comfort in each other.

And don't worry about that horribly insensitive woman. God will pop her one good enough for everybody.

Death brings out the worst in some people. I'm sorry you have to deal with this and I'm very sorry for your loss. Hopefully the Marines have assigned a good "Survivor Assistance Officer" who will walk the widow through all the tons of paperwork now.
