Oh, I drive my kids crazy with that one..."no, no, don't mention the Waltz of the Flowers or Mom will start doing it!" Now my oldest does it too and her husband runs out of the room.

I also have the embarrassing gift of being able to remember my former students' names from Spanish class for decades (not their real ones, their Spanish ones) . I'll see some middle-aged former student with her kids and yell something like, "Margarita Bailey!" and Margarita, whose name is really Natalie, will be explaining to her kids really fast why this woman called her that.

When I hear a song, I can relate it back to exactly where I was working at the time or what level I was in my education.

I have an uncanny ability to remember songs. Like I remember the songs that we sang at kindergarten graduation. I can also pick up tunes/lyrics pretty quickly. Which is why I kick butt singing at Rock Band.

And I have seen OTW's shaka on many occasions Its pretty impressive.

OH! I thought of one! I can cross ONE of my eyes. I can also cross both eyes then uncross one, but my right eye is so strong, that it's easier to do one than both.

That's also probably my strangest skill. I smell all sorts of crazy things. At work, whenever there's a strange smell or if someone needs a second opinion, I'm the girl to call. In a way it's bad though, because food often smells too strong and I can't eat it.

Ditto! I can remember the words to nearly every song I hear, even if I haven't heard it in several years. I also remember the words to the songs I performed in K-5 as well, DophinChica!!

Like right now, I'm listening to "The Hardest Thing" by 98 Degrees () and I know that this song came out when I was 13 but not in 8th grade, had to be the summer after because it wasn't out when I saw them in concert that Christmas.

I can talk for an excessively long time without taking a breath. I think because of all my training as a singer and my oh-so-proper breathing skills.

It freaks a lot of people out.

I have a great memory for paragraphs and such that I had to memorize in grade school. I learned Hebrews 11 in 3rd grade, the preamble to the constitution in 4th grade, the Gettysburg Address in the 5th grade, a German prayer (by the way, it's the only German I know!) in the 8th grade, 1 Corinthians 13 in the 8th grade....I can recite them all. Totally useless!

Oh...and I talk extremely fast, a skill that is frequently useful for a radiologist. It freaks most people out because it comes along with a deep southern accent that most people associate with a slow rate of speech.
