I usually don't call in sick, but when it's a rainy cold morning, then I get so tempted to. That's such good sleeping weather.

I've called in sick when I was just SO BORED with my job, I couldn't stand the thought of going in and sitting at that desk for nine hours. I only did this once and felt kind of guilty about it. Also, I once had a reaction to a medication and my hands swelled up so much I couldn't even brush my own teeth. So I wouldn't have been able to answer the phone, type, file, etc. so it was pointless. My boss thought it was funny and called me "large hands."
