When did I say I didn't cheer them on when they weren't doing well? I was there all September, watching almost every game on TV, hoping and praying (and cheering!) until the very last out on Sunday. Not only that, but I've been cheering them on over the years even when they really sucked. I don't know where you're getting this from.
ETA: And I still have Mets stuff on my car... and not planning on taking it off... so....????

What it costs to win
If you take each team's payroll and divide it by the number of wins in 2007, the cost per win for the Indians is a little over $600,000. The Red Sox are about $1.2 million per win. The Yankees... OVER $2 MILLION PER WIN.
The Yanks are getting skunked tonight.
Go Boys of Summer.
It's Tribe Time!!!

Let's Go Red Sox!!
Ree, I'm insanely jealous. BUT, if they win this series, I have tickets for game 1 of the ALCS. Fingers crossed!

Those are little bugs known as midges (Canadian Soldiers, Muffleheads, etc). They are attracted to heat and light and once they lights went on, they came off the lake. I had to laugh when they brought out the bug spray. Bug Spray doesn't help because Midges don't bite. But, they are annoying and I have seen entire buildings covered with them.
Years ago, when Lake Erie was dirty, we didn't have the midges. Now that the lake is clean, we have them.
I still have a lake front condo, but I don't live there. That is the only thing that my tennant has complained about.
New York here we come! I think that is where the Tribe dished out NYY's worst lost ever last year.

Sitting in my usual seats about 20 rows behind home plate at Wrigley (and sadly, for this game, 5 rows behind the family/wives of the Diamondback players) I witnessed the worst playoff game I've seen (and yes, I was there in '98 when Maddux as a Brave burned the Cubs). At least in 2003 I had hope.
I guess it's 'wait until next year' yet again.
*sigh*
Oh...and go Rockies!
