question for NUBlue & Blue

Those were the only girls VBF had talked to when she called a few minutes ago.

NUBlue&Blue- Out of curiosity, can you tell me out of your group,is there a correlation between who got the most, first inviations and who got a bid at the end? Did the PNM's that only had 3 or 6 invitations on the first round, end up getting a bid?
Did they all have recs? How many that pledged, were legacies?
Did any legacies not get a bid?

My niece is going through rush right now. I know what the general rules are, but was just wondering with you knowing so many going through all at once, what the statistics ended up being at the end? with your group?
Thanks so much.

Did the PNM's that only had 3 or 6 invitations on the first round, end up getting a bid? The biggest cuts were made the next day and most were left with 4 invitations or less (6 was the max), one of the girls with three dropped out, the one with 6 did not receive a bid
Did they all have recs? Yes, I believe most of them had recs--it is well known in our community that you can't go through rush at UGA w/out recs How many that pledged, were legacies? 2
Did any legacies not get a bid? No

The girl with 10 invites dropped out (not sure what she got after 2nd round when they did the most severe cuts).

Congrats to both your daughters! I know how special an experience it can be for "with the same parents" sisters to share the same sorority, and I'm sure your older daughter is ecstatic.

Your daughters are going to have wonderful memories years from now.
My biological sister and I were able to share one year together in ADPi-my freshman year and her senior year. It was SOOO much fun!
(And now her only daughter and my oldest daughter, while not ADPis, DID keep the "Alpha" and the three letters! Hers is an Alpha Chi Omega, and mine is an Alpha Xi Delta. I'm holding my breath for my youngest daughter to make it back to Alpha-and Delta-and Pi!!)

It's such a happy recruitment ending!

And it sounds like it was a pretty successful recruitment for all the groups at Tech!

Yay! After a disappointing formal recruitment, Very Good Friend is now a new member of Delta Gamma at UGA!

Congrats for ADPi!

And how wonderful to hear that a disappointed former PNM is now, a few weeks later, a member of a great chapter at UGA. Nice to hear a happy ending thru COB!
