Shows like this are Darwinism in action.
If someone comes through rush and says "OMG I watched that show on ABC Family and I was so excited to join because I know you guys are exactly like that!" you can cut them quickly and not think about it.

From the preview: "On a campus where everyone's a brother or a sister, they're learning that it's not just Greek Life, it's real life."
HaHaHa
I'm pretty sure this series will focus on partying, hazing, etc etc and completely forget to mention the philanthropies, community service, mentoring, school spirit, and other positive aspects that Greeks contribute to their communities. Oh well, I guess that will mean more work for us in the upcoming semester(s).

People said that Stomp the Yard would be the same way, but it wasn't. I'm reserving comment about this show until I actually watch it.

Well there tends to be more partying than any of the above
Otherwise we would be service groups.

I do. I enjoy their Gilmore Girls reruns as well as some of original made for TV movies. I know I probably don't fall into their target demographic, but I'm assuming a lot of women in my age range also tune in every now and then.

OMFG, I hope somebody out there reading this that knows somebody that knows somebody at ABC tells them how screwed up they are!
THIS IS NOT US!!!!
Sorry I had to rant

Does not even have to go that far.
Several years ago, SNL had a skit in which SAE was named (i.e. used a real GLO rather than made one up).
I thought that was rather odd/strange and the skit was not all to flattering.
I called the Networks switch board and complained about it; something I had never done before or since.
I also spoke with National about it. I was rather surprised to learn, later, that the actor in the skit is an SAE.

GrSSK!!
Sorry, its a big pet peeve of mine when people make stuff about Greek Life and then go and use Sigmas as Es or Deltas as As or whatever...I dunno, I guess I just think its kinda lazy, they go through all this trouble to make a show about Greeks and then assume that cuz Sigs look like Es they are. I'm just sayin, if they're gonna use Greek Letters in a title about something about Greek Life like that, why not get creative and use the actual letters in the title (Gamma Rho E E K)? I understand that people who don't know anything about Greek Life would assume that they're Es and read it as such, but yeah...that bug anybody else or am I just being dumb?

Good. If no one has any idea what it is, then they won't watch it.

She also played Dr. Lucy Montgomery on As The World Turns (for us ATWT fans). I never liked her then so I don't know if I'll like her character in this one.

man i just wrote this really good post but it got lost in the F5 shuffle but in short:
the girl looks old in the face, but she's like my age so... its whatever really. i wouldve cast hayden pantierre because a. ABC has cast her a lot lately, and she's done lots of different stuff (not that i am lauding her acting career cause to me she's still small fries) and to me it seems like something she'd do. OR Jamie Lynn Spears wouldve fit the role... then again im working solely on cute factor here and hell if we're gonna sell the success of a show based on over the top greek stereotypes, might as well make the stars cute and somewhat known right?

I think Hayden's got her hands full being on one of the most popular shows of the past season on a real network, without having to resort to this dreck.
