America's Next Top Model-Cycle 8
Just read in the newest people magazine with Tyra on the cover that cycle 8 begins February 28th.
I searched the net but I couldn't find anything listing the cycle 8 contestants. CW doesn't have ANTM listed as a "televised" show right now.
Either way I'm excited!!!!!

I am excited too. VH1 is airing Australia's Next Top Model in March. It is going to be a top model overload!

The models are:
Abby, 24, Santa Cruz, California
Christina, 19, Madison, Wisconsin
Connie, 18, Phoenix, Arizona
Elaina, 21, Boston, Massachusetts
Jennifer, 22, Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Jollie, 20, Roswell, New Mexico
Kelsie, 19, San Francisco, California
Krystal, 19, Farwell, Texas
Laia, 18, Honolulu, Hawaii
Lily, 25, New York, New York
Maggie, 18, Detroit, Michigan
Melissa, 20, Seattle, Washington
Samantha, 18, Las Vegas, Nevada
Pics were supposed to come out this past week, but I'm not going digging to find out (there not anywhere obvious yet). The trip will be to Sydney though.
Word on the street is a lot of the girls are "larger" models this cycle.
Here's a pic of Tyra in Sydney during their trip:

Flame away, but Tyra looks like shit these days. If you are going to host a modeling competition, keep yourself in somewhat of a model-shape. Her face even looks strange in every pic I've seen of her lately.

She weighs around 160lbs now she said last week. At 5'11" thats more than fine. She said it best too -- models have to be skinny. She's not a model anymore.
She's by no means is fat and I think it's awful she's being slammed for gaining weight. So she may have some bad pictures out there, but I daresay everyone has them. I think she deserves a break. She's trying to help young women on her talk-show and give girls the opportunity of a lifetime with ANTM.

I'm not sure where you got these names but they aren't the cycle 8 participants that Tyra has introduced via a video on Yahoo or the pictures you can look at via yahoo (link below).
http://tv.yahoo.com/americas-next-to...35130/photos/1
Cycle 8 Participants (according to Yahoo)
Whitney, 21, West Palm Beach, Florida
Sarah, 21, Lake Zurich, Illinois
Samantha, 19, Pinson, Alabama
Renee, 20, Maui, Hawaii
Natasha, 21, Dallas, Texas
Kathleen, 20, Brooklyn, New York
Jael, 22, Seattle, Washington
Felicia, 19, Houston, Texas
Dionne, 20, Montgomery, Alabama
Diana, 21, Garfield, New Jersey
Cassandra, 24, Seattle, Washington

Isn't it weird how the lists weren't even similiar? I have to say I was kind of bummed, I really liked the list you posted because there was a girl from AZ so I was like "YES"!
OTW: Remind me who Tatiana is again? I didn't religiously start watching the show until cycle 4. I caught only bits of cycle 3 (but when Amanda was booted I stopped watching because I WAS NOT a fan of Eva). I recognize the name.
