Do you girls really have to turn every damn thread on GC a personal one between you two or whoever else wants to join in? People are getting really sick of it. I could have PMd this but I know that there are more than a few people who are tired of it.
blueangel... I didn't think you were going off. It's just people with nothing better to do than pick apart people's posts and turn threads into their own...all day long.

Keep in mind, many people will come to a message board for medical advice instead of going to their doctor.
Nobody was "going off" except you. But you seem to do that quite alot around here.

Nothing was said about her going to a doctor, except the part at the end that said:

People take themselves too seriously. It's called sarcasm.

No one said you had to read it. There's the ignore feature if you care to check it out.
And some people have nothing better to do then be part of a chorus of a Glibert & Sullivan musical.

I don't think I'm very kosher then...
BTW, the only reason I'm not posting on topic is that Amy is waiting to hear from her doctor and she's gotten very good advice in this thread so far. She knows I care about my sister.

And the best part?? He doesn't want me to drive. That should be interesting, as I work two jobs throughout the week. Cool.

Is the heart monitor a little box that has electrode type things attached to your chest? I had to wear something similar 10 years ago when my doctor was running tests to figure out that I had epilepsy. I've had a bunch of EEGs done, though not for a few years, and you might spend awhile washing your hair afterward because of the gel used to stick the electrodes to your head seems to stay stuck on your scalp.
The not driving thing sucks. I've been there and it's not much fun to suddenly not be able to drive, it's a bit frustrating trying to figure out how to get around.
I hope that everything turns out okay for you!

Sounds like it - it's called a holter monitor, and monitors your EKG over a 24 hour period. It's a great way to show any daily variances in heartbeat that can cause other physical problems.
Good luck with everything, and I hope they find out exactly the cause of your problems. I know from personal experience, it's awful having symptoms and not knowing where they're coming from, or what's causing them.

Yes, holter monitor... I was drawing a blank before, but that's exactly it. I've heard people mention them before, but have never had to have one myself. Guess there's a first time for everything.

You're tellin me!!! They missed one today when they took them off after my EKG... So when I got to work and was itchy, I went to scratch and tore that little sticker right off. Needless to say, I was all kinds of "What the hell?!?!". I think I could deal better with that than with whatever goopy shit ends up in my hair for the electrodes with the EEG.

OMG those stickers are a bitch. I had open heart surgery when I was younger and have to go see a cardiologist every 6 months- 1 year for a check up and always get an EKG and an Echo. You'd think that after 18+ of having to do this I'd be used to it, but no.

Everytime my dad has stuff done, he always comes home with at least 3 still on him. You'd think they'd remember all the ones they put on! Hopefully everything turns out ok. Let us know if you want!
