I purchased Herb Alpert's (and Tiajuana Brass (sp)) greatest hits and Madea's Family Reunion for $9.99 @ Best Buy.
I haven't listened to the soundtrack, but Johnny Gill does have track. That was enough for me to buy it!
Herb Alpert's "Rise" is one of my all-time favorites.

Yes, it is!!
And I'm stuck on Yo! by Chris Brown. Still.
My coworker had an extra ticket to see Floetry last Friday. She asked if I wanted to go. I only liked Getting Late before I saw them live.
HC when they did Feelings, I sat there the whole song like this: b/c it reminded me of a friend of mine
HC on Saturday I went and bought both of their CDs?!
HC Supastar is starting to grow on me now..?
HC dont tell anyone, but I like L.O.V.E. by Ashlee Simpson too?

Anyone else feeling Sergio Mendes' new album 'Timeless'? It was produced by Will.I.Am of the Black Eye Peas. Jill Scott, Erykah Badu and Justin Timberlake are some of the featured artist. Some of the older folks in the room might remember Sergio and the Brazil 66 music scene. Or you might know the song 'Mas Que Nada'. It's a great album.

Yo...I keep this song on repeat. I think it is HOT! I'm happy for LeToya. I think she has shown the world that she was much more than a background singer. The scary part is that when she really gets into it, it almost reminds me of Beyonce's soulfulness. She is makin' it do what it do though. Do you Ma!

I have to purchase his album, "North on South Street" again. I had the cassette tape many years ago, but wore the sucker out.

Has anyone heard Kelis' (w Too Short) "Bossy"? It's growing on me. She's cut her hair...sporting a new look.
I heard a song that sounded like Puffy's Girl group from MTB. Then, on another site, there was a link to a Puffy and Lori Ann song. I didn't listen, so I guess I should.

I must recommend Corrine Bailey Rae. She is an artist from the U.K. and I think that she is WONDERFUL!!! This is her website. You can hear some of her songs. I heard her on VH1 Soul and was hooked.
I think that I am going to try to get into U.K. artists. Some of them are hot!

I saw her video.
I like Hil St.Soul's latest..."Goodbye"
UK artists (some) are underrated/have been underrated...
