I like Delta Gamma, like when you shorten it to DG. I think it reminds me of DZ: Kids zone from when I was little...only now it's for big kids.

ADPi
AOPi
Tri Delt
Sig Ep
Pi Phi
Fiji
ZeTA
Alpha Chi
Alpha Gam
KA
ATO
Etc.
Makes for alot of different songs and it is alot easier to type.

sounds like a fun thread...
all the D9 sororities have nice sounds, though i used to get tongue tied saying Alpha Kappa Alpha - dont worry, ive gotten it down.
i like Sigma Gamma Rho also b/c of the "rho"--never heard that letter used aside from "rho chi" (which i think is like your counselor during rush - oh, duh, Rush Counselor - RC? someone correct me otherwise)
Ive always been a math nerd so, Delta Sigma Theta sounds cool cause ive used all those symbols in classes.
and zeta phi beta cause it rhymes (and i have a few friends who are theta phi beta - a local on campus) and because its linked as zeta phi beta sigma, which is clever.
as for the guys, i like how a phi a sounds in abbrevation, and i like how phi beta sigma letters look and sound together.
and Iota Phi Theta because i dont recall any orgs that use iota for the first letter.
who else? phi iota alpha when its shortened to phiota. and theres a latina sorority - sigma lambda upsilon - i dont think lambda and upsilon get the attention they deserve!
these are ones ive liked for abbreviations and acronyms:
Kappa alpha theta (KAT)
Kappa Phi Lambda (KPL - kinda rolls, my old suitemate is one)
Delta phi eplison (deepher)
Sigma Phi Epsilon (SigEp-my old boss is sigep, sounds like its always used at a big 10 like, "kegger at the sigep house!")
and there's always TKE - ive never heard anyone say Tau Kappa Epsilon (not hat i think if it, is it "tau" or "theta"
and, Theta Nu Xi - ONE - pretty cool.
Kappa Kappa Gamma - something about the gamma letter that i like.
the only one i can think of from TV is from Legally Blonde (Delta Nu, which was changed from DG, right?) and from School Daze (the Gamma Rays and G phi G - what was the other group called-the dark skinned girls with the red and blue?)
okay ive said enough.

Kappa Kappa Gamma
Chi Omega
Beta Theta Pi - we used to drive by the Beta house at UT and sing "Beta Theta Pi, Beta Theta Pi" in a sing-song voice. It's just fun to say.

Names
I always that that the Dekes and the SAE's had the best nickmames.
I always thought that Pi Kappa Phi got slammed with the Pi Phi for boys nickname.
Kappa Alpha Theta is a cool name as well.

Iota Phi Theta - OF COURSE. I love the way it sounds no matter how we say it: IOTA, I-Phi-T, I Phi, I Phi Theta.
Our letters also look good. How many orgs. can combine their letters into one?

There are too many other organizations whose letters flow well together. I agree with all the ones named in the thread so far.
One non-greek letter fraternal org. that has a great name is Groove Phi Groove.

I'm sure that some of this comes from childhood:
Delta Delta Delta OR Tri-Delt
Kappa Kappa Gamma OR Kappa
Delta Tau Delta OR Delt
Pi Kappa Alpha OR Pika
