Saw the trailer last night before "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" -- "Seasons of Love" has been running through my head ever since.
The QuickTime version can be seen here.

Re: Re: RENT! the movie
I am so geeked!!!!!
OMG! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! You have made my evening!
Of course I started singing along to the trailer!
"Seasons of Love" is one of my all time favorite songs...Bar None!
And if I hit "refresh" and play the trailer one more time, Mr. 1228 might have a fit!
I am so going to see this movie on opening day! I haven't been this stoked about a movie for some time.
(Yes I have seen the play a few times, I must confess. I have the book and have played the soundtrack to death!")
Time to hit "refresh" again!

Am so excited about the movie - I am going to haul out my 2-disc Rent soundtrack and listen to it while I drive to work...

Very good. I wondered who would do that!
I got out our old soundtrack today, but one of the kids either has, or lost disc number one sometime in the past.
The only piece I really miss is "Glory," otherwise I can live pretty much with disc two.

The first network commercial I've seen for the movie was on in prime time last night.

I'm really really really excited.
It's been a long time since I've been excited to see a movie. Especially this far in advance.

I really, really hope that the film version of Rent will be as good as or almost as good as the musical. I was scared when they made the Phantom into a movie but I think it turned out amazing, so I'm hoping the same goes for this. I've seen Rent twice, once in KC and once on Broadway, which was probably the most amazing thing ever. When I saw it in NYC last December, Drew Lachey was playing Mark, I didn't think he'd be very good but he was actually fantastic!!!
I'm excited to see how the creepy Darell kid from Adventures In Babysitting plays Mark in the movie, should be interesting!
I am definitely going to see this the day it comes out, I cannot wait!!!

I bought the movie soundtrack. Pretty good...
they have a bonus song that Jonathan was working on called "Love heals" and I think I might like it more than "Seasons of Love"
and that is saying something!

Looks like it's getting mediocre reviews. The major complaint is the movie cutting "Goodbye Love".
