My schedule is 5 days a week.
I attend all classes.
I will graduate in 4 years- summa cum laude, if my GPA stays the same.
I work 20 hours a week.
Yet, I still manage to go out at least 3 or 4 times a week. It's called time management. Don't judge people that you don't know.

I had Friday classes maybe 2 semesters during my college years. During my senior year, I had class only 3 days week. I somehow managed to graduate in 4 years. So did most of my friends who never had Friday classes and the ones who took longer to graduate were the ones who did a double major. Hmmm...

Yo yo that's because those of us who are MU students (three different MUs and a UM in the harem alone!) have an obligation to graduate in four years so that our parents do not go broke from providing for us.

Thursday began the weekend at IU back in the day when I was there (both go-rounds.) I had no Friday classes my last few years, so that was good. Of course, I didn't go out nearly as much as I did the first time around when I went back as an older student...

Yeah.
I wish he wouldn't judge 5 year students either. Not everyone can afford to take 18 hours a semester.

co-sign.
I'm 5 years as I did not start my Curriculum Instruction course string until the middle of my 2nd year at ISU, thus adding the teaching certificate and coaching endorsement bumped me up a year (including a semester of student teaching). I took Tom's remark to mean those getting only 1 major and maybe 1 minor taking more than 4years.

although not necessarily true. i think those who took longer were ones that couldn't decide on a major or who just didn't want to get out of a school. i had a good friend in school who triple-majored in the business school and got out in four years. he did work his ass off taking 18-20 credits a semester, but he still did it.

Even if he did mean it what's wrong with that? I don't see the rush of getting out of college (within reason of course, 5 years is the cut off, lol).

Yeah, that's my case. Also, I can't afford to take more than 12 hours per semester.

This is definitely how my school is...it seems like a lot of the best specials at bars are on Thursday nights too. Beer for a quarter is just not something I can ever turn down. Also, on Fridays everyone I know goes to this one certain bar for $10 bottomless cup, but it sucks b/c it's so crowded. Saturday isn't any better so it seems like if you want to go out and have a good time you better go out Thursday.
Luckily I don't have class until 1 on Fridays and it's my only class, so I usually go and then come right back home to bed. I am skipping this week though b/c we're leaving for Memphis early...oh well!
I am excited for tomorrow night, all my tests and papers will be done now for a bit...time to celebrate.

Me too, hun.
But honestly, every night but Sunday is a big drinking night here.

Nice. That's cheaper than the 50 cents draft they charge on College I.D. night at Peabody's.

One of the bars in Akron used to have 5 cent drafts to lure more people in. It lasted for a while, but I'm still not sure how many people even go anymore. Its kind of a hole in the wall place.
