and Im all for it being on the VVs as well. I just know Id rather be informed on it so one Im not in a bidding war with a sister and two I can know who is on there and isnt so I can see who is more of a collector so they cant get the pins. They are winning more and more of them.

Sorry to be the one of the lone few but I have to say I think 2 is best. Only because groups like keepers of the keys ect don't publicize their lists. I know that this is a hot topic, but we as a group need to remember that this is a public forum. We stress that about not posting our rituals, ect but isn't the pin part of our rituals? And by posting our E-Bay names on a public forum, we're giving some of that away. I know I had my name on the list, so maybe I am a hypocrite, or maybe hind-sights 20/20

Maybe it's just me, but how are our pins considered ritual? When I think of ritual I think of Initiation, Alpha Ceremony, stuff like that. Events where only ADPi's are going to know the intricacies of the details. As for our pins, non ADPi's know what our pins look like, whether from EBay or not. You go to our official website and I believe (although don't quote me) somewhere there is a picture of our pin. One can look at many of the chapter websites and find pictures of our pins. IMO ritual is agian something that only ADPi's know about. Yes, our pins "participate" in Initiation and Alpha Ceremony but they aren't the main focus of those events.

This just my opinion, I don't consider the pin ritual. Hell, I know what the other sororities pins look like thanks to my Alpha book, doesn't mean I know anything about their ritual though.

Agree with me, disagree with me, just respect that this is my opinion.

Yeah, I was wondering about that, too. Ritual = secret, and our badge is out there for all to see. It is an outward symbol of recognition, no?

So far, the results are:

#1: zero.
#2: three.
#3: eight. (I have taken texas*princess's vote out of here, as she is also a mod. If she or anyone else has a problem with that, I will add her back in.)

Just as a side comment, why should moderator opinions on polls not count? Honey, are you and T*P not active sisters? Then why shouldn't your opinion matter. It isn't being weighted any heavier. i could understand if one of your votes tipped the scales, but that doesn't appear to be the case in this matter.

Just my thoughts.

I had said originally that I was taking myself out because I'm a mod, and it just seemed proper. At this point, unless there's a huge movement in the next 45 minutes, I'd say it's a moot point.

1) I want the list to stay on GreekChat and PO. Zero

2) I want the list to stay on PO ONLY. Three

3) I want the list to stay on both GreekChat and PO, but want another vote after PO is updated. Eight

With that, Option #3 wins the poll.

The next question is, if anyone would like their ebay screen name deleted from either the GreekChat or PO list, please PM me, and I will do so.
