I tried to keep silent, but I have to state my "little opinion".

Yes, Coral needs to lay off...I guess we have established that fact, but she is sooooo rude. She makes herself look ridiculous. I am sure that Mike can be a little annoying, especially since he is not as "worldly" as some of them appear to be. He seems to try to bond and understand the others, but they are not doing the same(I thought his elephant joke was kinda cute . Coral seems to be the ring leader and everyone follows her lead. He isn't that bright, but that's no reason to treat him like crap. She is looking for anything and everything to put him down!

Malik, I'm sure will dissappoint many, but remember he expressed interest in Nicole too! Not trying to offend anyone, but remember he graduated from Berkley. Things are different there. If he is biracial, then he accepts both. I too, come from one black and one white parent...my husband is black, but that is my preference. Let's wait and see what next week's episode brings before we hang him out to dry.

I agree with whoever said that Malik's afro doesn't mean he will only date black girls. I never knew an afro meant that you wouldn't date a white girl. Besides from the clip I saw it seemed as though the girl was trying to pick him up, not the other way around. I think Nicole is just mad because she's attracted to Malik, (remember to comment " I got it at home")

I think it's really funny how when they showed Nicole in her PJ's she was in FULL make-up.......I was like NEGRO PLUHEZZZZZE!!

I think Coral is really showing how much of a child she is. Soober or later we all hav to realize that the sun doesn't rise and set around us. She hasn't come to grips with that fact,

On the same token this is a learning and growing experience for Mike too. He's used to folks loving him but the world doesn't work like that all the time.

I do think that they should lay off of him, they're making him miserable on purpose.

I damn near think she sleeps in it. They have not caught her one time without it. For all we know, it might be permanent.
I feel sorry for Mike, too. I don't know who made Coral the chairwoman on the committee to make Mike miserable. She is really looking like an absolute a**.

Oh, and one last thing: I think they all could stand to learn a little appreciation for where they are at at that moment in time. Certainly with the job. You may not like the music, but you can't ask for more as far as the job goes.

Coral - I don't know how much more of her I can stomach this season. Coral seems to have major control issues and a very mean spirit.

Mike - It seems like he can be a pain in the behind, but I don't think it warrants him being ridiculed, disrespected, and alienated.

Rachel - I can't believe she too is dogging Mike. And did she make derogatory comments about Mike during HER job interview -- How unprofessional and uncool was that?.

Arista - It's so ironic AND funny, how most of the house would not go to the rock venues with Mike, and now it's part of their job. Oh, how I laughed!!! And then MTV puts Mike and Coral at the same desk.

Coral and Nicole - Is it me, or could you really see the displeasure on their faces during the Arista briefing? Could they make it any more apparent that they were not feeling their job assignment. I guess they thought they would be working with Babyface. LOL!!! I mean, I am not really a hard rock aficianado (although I do have a few favorites , but this was their FIRST day -- What happened to putting your best foot forward and showing some enthusiasm?

Nicole - I could not believe she state during her interview that she was closed minded when it came to music! I don't know about anyone else, but if I lived in the heart of the ghetto (as she stated) and had tales of "ghetto roosters" (hooty hoo, hooty hoo) and roaches, I think I would want to take this opportunity to shine because the gig at Arista could potentially be a way out.

Lori - She doesn't like the genre of music either, but I bet she will milk this for all its worth.

Once again, Coral needs to get a hobby. So what if Mike said that Maxwell sucks [he doesn't, by the way; Maxwell is the bomb!]? Everybody says stuff like that all the time. She was just looking for another excuse to blast him as usual.

Grow up, Coral. She is the "angry black woman" personified. Perhaps, she has other sides to her personality, but that side is all that is shown to the public. She gets on my nerves.

Mike is a little dorky, but he does try. Everybody needs to get off his back.

About the Arista job they got, all I have to say is this: 1) Did they really think that they were going to be working with Outkast and Toni Braxton? No. Get real.

2) Suck it up! Be grateful that you have such a cool job! Stop complaining just because you have to work with rock bands! It's a nice opportunity to get your foot in the door if you're interested in the music business/industry. They're living in a phat house, rent free and have a cool job that most people would give their right arm for. Ugh. Stop the madness!

I have been watching RW10 and I'm LMBAGPPLGCPBWLAPAAO (Figure that one out). Coral is a bit tough on Mike but I think she is the kind of person once her mind is mad up that is the end. LOOK the man did something sweet at Valentines Day and he still was treated bad. Now Nichole getting upset HEY I get upset when I am walking amoungst the Pyramids and see a Sister(attractive or not) with the other meat! But I cannot judge what happened and neither should any of us until we see the episode! Who know we may think Nicole is in the wrong when we are done

Coral is soo immature. Did anyone notice how she pouted when realizing she has to share a desk with Mike. She needs to grow up & Mike needs to tell everyone to kiss his lily white a$$.
Personally I don't ever want to see Nicole without makeup. I imagine her just as a blank face. I know plenty of fair skin people that look fine without make-up, but Nicole doesn't seem to have any defining features. Can we say white paper plate???We will probably begin to see her without make-up as the season progresses the camera thing is still new to her. But I wish the camera man would catch her running to the bathroom in the mornings barefaced to apply that stuff. That would probably cause Nicole to want to fight.
Already I am siding with Kevin in the future fight. why? B/C Nicole put ther fingers in his face. That is totally disrespectful and she would be lucky if he didn't personally remove them.
As for the assignment.... at least they may get the chance to meet some of their favorite artist....oh well, suck it up kids!!!!!
And when is someone other than Malik going to put a real coat on.... Its NYC so I now their lil a$$es is freezing. I'm waiting to see one of the ladies bust their a$$ while walking to work. You know that NYC streets are good for that thin layer of ice on the sidewalks. Before you know what hit you....BAM!!! Sidewalk meet A$$, A$$ this is sidewalk, have a great day!!!!

Mike is beginning to take up for himself a little sumin' sumin'...but he needs to be more firm and tell Coral how he REALLY feels about her!I get the feeling that he's a little "Skurred". Nicole is just ghetto...and is it THAT serious for one to wear all of that make up? Gosh...I know us ladies like to look Good, but dayum!

THey did do that one episode. THey had her applying her makeup, and talking about the REASONS that she always had to have "the face" on. She grew up poor with not even water in the house. So folk called her the dirty kid. And because of that, she feels insecure and always has to be completely made up.

Come on folks, I think that it's a bit excessive too, but show some compassion.

Both Nicole and Malik are biracial. Just to add in my take on the show. At first, I thought the whole Coral and Mike thing was funny. He's just sooo incredibly naive. But now especially after last week's show, I just feel sorry for him. Every time he opens his mouth I'm just like, "Oh God!"

I wonder how grossly edited Coral's character is. You know they edit random clips together in order to make certain stock characters and produce interesting storylines. Even if Coral was really rude to Mike on a few occasions, if they put those few together on consecutive episodes, then she really looks like a b*tch.

In those post-interviews, people from past seasons always say they hated the experience after watching the show on TV because their characters were so manufactured.

Oh, and to whoever said Nicole was biracial.. then what's her whole argument with Malik about?? All it comes down to is that she wants the man - if it was a black girl I'm positive she would have something to say about her, too.
