Sorors!!!!! I have missed you all!!!!! This is a topic that I must share!!! I love my sorority!!!!! Its like no other so I take this as a SERIOUS MATTER!!!!!!!
MY daughter is in the Future AKA nalia and the Khaki hat to match not to mention she always can be found only in pastels mainly Pretty in Pink... I have always thought that little girls look beautiful in PINK!!!! I don't think that I did it intentionally. I have my AKA briefcase which I take with me everywhere and my gold AKA business card holder. I have so much even down to the linen AKA dinner napkins. I try to keep the nalia down to one item when I dress. I have always dressed mainly in pastels but I have FLY two piece after five suit from Spiegel that my sorors asked when I walked in the room at a ball.... WHO IS THAT? SHE MUST BE DST. Until they saw that it was me. That was a rare occassion that I was RED. Y'all know that they talked about me but I couldn't resist that suit and besides... I LOOKED D*** GOOD IN IT!!!!!!

Now, those other ones, the "classics" came out not too long after I crossed, if I'm not mistaken. They are HORRIBLE looking. YUCK!

Yeah I was trippin out on those tennis shoes but, I kind of like the ones that look like Nike.

When someone says to you, "Dang, how much AKA stuff you got? Pink and green somethin' every day."
This lady said this to me at my job. Now she calls me Miss AKA. Ok, It was the week of my AKAversary. But still, why do people do that? Ok, I love my letters. But, my name is Ms. Monique, NOT Miss AKA!!!

Then, why do peeps always say when they see something pink and green...those are YOUR colors!!???????
I mean dayum, I like all kinds of colors.

Why are people surprised when your org's colors aren't your favorite color??? I mean, come on people, everyone had a favorite color BEFORE they crossed. Some people just don't think.

You know you've gone overboard when you avoid the colors of other orgs, lol. First year after I crossed I didn't wear red (of course this was easy because I have never owned a lot of red and it ain't my favorite color, but this was on purpose).

When you have a license plate guard on the front *and* the back of your car. LOL. I got two when we went over and slapped both of those bad boys on my car! The front plate has been since removed. LOL.
