Adam Sandler's "Bill Madison" was filmed in Toronto. The filmed the highschool portiona at Western Tech, just around the corner from my highschool Humberside CI. My brother met him while he was at a summer camp at Western Tech.

Of course there are many many others. It's cheap to film here and Toronto can easily pass for New York, Chicago, Detroit (the movie with DMX and Steven Segal was filmed here...can't remember the name)

I was reading the Toronto Star yesterday and the pics of the celebrities in town shooting films. Many of the hang out around Bay and Bloor.
Russel Crow, Rene Zellweger, Vivica Fox, to name a few are in Toronto right.

P.S thanks for letting me come and participate on your board.

CHARLOTTE

Just watching the news and today there is a casting call for a Will Ferrell movie but they also showed that Shallow Hal and The Patriot were filmed here.

New York City - to many to mention

Honorouble mention: They shot the Basketball Diaries in my high school. I got casted as one of the extras. You can see me for about .5 second during one of the games.

Filmed in D/FW

Part of the opening to Office Space was filmed in Dallas. The rest of the movie was made in Austin

Parts of Unnecessary Roughness was shot at University of North Texas

I want to say that The Waterboy was shot there to. But I could be wrong about this

Someone told me that scenes from Top Gun were filmed on SMU's campus.
