OOOOO!! i just got LJ and i love it!! a place i can put all my thoughts without having to actually hand write them out into a book 
but i'm not sure how to add people, i'm still figuring out the ropes and have been spending more time on the design than friending.. so feel free to friend me!!

It's easy. Just go to the manage friends link & then choose the edit friends link. From there, just type in the name of the person you want to friend & you can even choose colors to represent them when you read their lj's.
You're now added to my flist!
