			I like Kermit's Bein' Green
It's not that easy bein' green
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves
When I think it could be nicer being red or yellow or gold
Or something much more colorful like that
 It's not easy bein' green
It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
Not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water
 Or stars in the sky
But green's the color of Spring
And green can be cool and friendly-like
And green can be big like an ocean
 Or important like a mountain
 Or tall like a tree
When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why
 But why wonder, why wonder?
I am green and it'll do fine
 It's beautiful!
And I think it's what I want to be

By the way, people, add the words if you can remember them. That way, we'll have the songs stuck in our heads all day long(insert evil laugh here )

Grover was my favorite so anything he sang was cool.
Didn't he have a song about being near and far?

And remember when the owl with the jazz club had a show and they sang Birdland? Or was that in a movie?

 It's been a while obviously. I can't remember anything.

But "Follow that Bird" was my absolute fav movie when I was a kid.

) | Monster in the Mirror:

Saw a monster in the mirror
When I woke up today,
A monster in my mirror
But I did not run away.
I did not shed a tear or hide beneath my bed,
Though the monster looked at me
And this is what he said:

Chorus:
Wubba wubba wubba wubba
Woo woo woo,
Wubba wubba wubba
And a doodly-do.

He sang wubba wubba wubba
So I sang it too.
Do not wubba me
Or l will wubba you!
Do not wubba me
Or l will wubba you!

Told the monster in the mirror,
"No, I am not scared!"
Then I smiled at him and thanked him for
The song that we had shared.
Well, the monster thanked me too, me too,
He smiled right back and then
The monster in the mirror sang his song again.
(Repeat chorus. )

He went wubba wubba wubba
And I sang along.
Yes, wubba wubba wubba
Is a monster song!

If your mirror has a monster in it, do not shout;
This kind of situation does not call for freaking out
And do nothing that you would not like to see him do,
'Cause that monster in the mirror
He just might be you.
(Repeat chorus. )

Wubba wubba wubba
You can join in too...

Yes, if you wubba me
Then I will wubba you!
Going wubba wubba wubba
Is the thing to do!

Every time you wubba us
We'll wubba you!

OMG I LOVED THAT MOVIE!!!

I cried when he was stuck in the cage at the circus, and singing that song about being blue.

And my favorite joke as a kid came from that movie-

Kermit the Frog: Why didn't the chicken cross the road? Cause he was chicken- get it??!!

Aaahhh. the good ole days

My friend was obsessed with Elmo so she had all of the Elmo tapes... oh yeah we were in high school by the way. My fave, that I also heard at "123 Sesame Street Live" is "Imagination" and "La la la la, la la la la, Elmo's Song".

First of all, i LOVE all the songs that have already been posted! I will add the calypso version of the Rubber Duckie song. The chorus was something like:
And do de duck, rubber duck, duck duck duck
Rubber duck, rub-ber duck, duck duck, rubber duck
duck, rubber duck duck, rubber duck
DUCK DUCK RUBBER DUCK RUBBER DUCK DUCK

don't get soap in your eye....cuz that'll make you cry....

i will look for the rest.

And I have no idea what's going on, except to say it's fine b/c it was directed to me, and we're friends. As far as anyone else seeing it, we're all adults here, I would hope.
