Contacts, usually, unless I'm just sitting at home. My vision is about 3 times worse in my left eye than my right eye, so glasses sometimes give me this weird double-vision effect...not good when you're driving and trying to guess which lane the other car is actually in!

Contacts. The glasses only come on after I've taken my contacts out at night.

Glasses, but only the cheap kind you buy at the grocery store or pharmacy for reading only.

glasses

I used to wear contacts, but my eyes would get irritated after a few hours. That was several years ago, though... perhaps with the new generation of longer-wearing contacts, it would be easier on my eyes.

Maybe I'll throw some Flex Spend money at them when I buy new frames this year!

Mr. Ginger, much like Mr. Valkyrie, also prefers the way I look in glasses.

OT- question on lasik surgery

Did you guys have your eyes done on seperate visits? Was it difficult to mend? If so, how long did the uncomfortable feeling last?

It kind of creeps me out just THINKING about it!

Nowadays there are designer name (Gucci, Storm et al.) glasses sold everywhere. Plus, media images like The New Advenutures of Superman where Dean Cain wears carefully selected fashionable glasses have accelerated the decline of any stigma which may have been attached to wearing of glasses.

When I was younger my mom only let me wear contacts for productions that I was in (theater and dance) but I never really got used to wearing them. So I only wear glasses now and when I am dancing, I just take them off and go around blind!

(I'm actually the only active in Theta's 2002-2003 composite who is wearing glasses....)
