Now that dear ladies is the sound of equeen's heart just racing!! I don't normally visit or post at forums other than public, general, or A.S.K. -- pardon me if this is the first forum I visit on greekchat from now on! Not having watched WWF in a while, I had forgotten (how could I!) how handsome the Rock is! His smile...oh my!

Yah, you could say I'm a Rock fan!!

Serenity, I remember the Junk yard Dog(may he rest in peace), do you remember when Vince McMahon was only the commentator with Gorilla Monsoon and Bruno Sammartino? I think xpac is so cute! Please don't close this thread down too soon! I am so happy to see some sisters beside me who like wrestling. I have been watching since I was a youngun with the Von erichs and the Fabulous Freebirds. Everyone told me it was a white thing but I didn't thinks so. I feel vindicated now!LoL

Yes, I do remember that. It still kills me that he is sooooo involved now with the matches, etc. I almost died the first time he actually said he was going to wrestle The Rock. I couldn't stop laughing. One thing though, those McMahon's work for that money. I mean look at the filthy names they are called every show. Especially Stephanie. Shoot, Jericho talking about her dirty drawers.....That's a shame. I couldn't take that. That's low...

ZetaAce, how do you think the XFL is going to be? I'm not really into football, but according to Vince, the XFL will be football entertainment as opposed to an everyday football game.

Ladies of AKA, this topic is getting longer and longer! Sorry!

Vanda- I think Big Show is cute, but I'm mad cause he sold out last night. I think X-Pac should break away from DX, cause they are just getting boring. (Except when road dog does his little intro)

Serenity- They sure do work for that money. I'm sure they go home and dance in their piles of money and say Yipee Yipee afterwards, so I'm not feeling sorry for them at all!

XFL- Do NOT get me started on football girl, LOL!! I love football. (So much that when my friends want to call me on Sunday, they turn on the packers and wait for a commercial break). The season starts on September 3rd! Pre-season games start Saturday!

Anyway, the XFL is supposed to be real football, just without all of the stupid extra rules that the fans hate about the NFL. For example, there will be no penalties for celebrating, there will be no 'fair catches' and the holding penalties will be a lot less strict. I think it will be pretty exciting, and I like the way that they are giving the team incentives to win, instead of giving a few stars big contracts.

I am glad that we here in Chicago will have one of the firstXFL teams. Last week they named Dick Butkus as the head coach here. You know he was rough in his day and I can't wait to see what he does in February. WWf entertainment is one of the top ten small businesses in the country and they make megamoney! You should see the diamond encrusted watch Linda McMahon wears. I think they should send Stephanie and all the other ladies to a acting class because they are so transparent. You can tel they just learned the lines they say. And yes the rock was once a football player on a usfl football team.

CAN YOU SMEEEELLLLLLLL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING? Being that I am the mother of 2 boys, I know everything to know about the Rock, Jericho, The Hardy Boyz, Big Show, Rikishi, Under Taker, Chyna, HHH, Kane, Kurt Angle, and the list goes on. My boys and I watch WWF faithfully. At first I had to cut out wrestling altogether. I had to lay down the law. My boys were doing the "people's elbow", rock bottom, choke slam, and the Stone Cold Stunner on each other. One day I was laying on the floor. All of a sudden my youngest son took his elbow and came down on my arm. It hurt so bad! Well, I gave him the "Mama's Tail Kicking" The principal at their school had to send a notice home petitioning parents to talk to their kids regarding the dangers of wrestling. The kids were "low blowing" each other and everything. My own son did a move called "The Walls of Jericho" on a little boy. While watching wrestling, I always explain to the boys that it is not real. If you are involved with young kids, please tell them to not try those moves. They could seriously injure themselves.

Unhappy

Did any of you guys hear about the 13 year old boy in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl who just got convicted of 1st degree murder because he killed a little 6 year old girl. He was trying to do a wrestling move he saw on television. He threw her into a stair rail, he said that he was trying to throw her onto the couch and missed. The article is in the new Jet with the cast of "The Steve Harvey Show"on the cover.
