well.....

I do not like them for me but, they are cute on other people, AKA related tatoos are preference related. My best friend is a Zeta and she has her letters branded on her arm.....big ouch! it is small but you can tell what it is....

Interesting...I am currently contemplating a bracelet tatoo. Mine will consist of clusters of very small violets.

PLEASE let me know how you make out when you get it.

Personally I'd rather have a tat then a brand. I just don't like the way brands look. Plus I think you can have more creative freedom with a tat. I'm actually thinking about a getting a poodle tattoed somewhere, I just don't know where yet. Prolly on my shoulder or on my thigh.

I know that tattoo's are disliked by many Sorors especially seasoned Sorors.Tat's w/ the Sorority's letters, or shield are frowned upon. That's why most Sorors I know w/ "AKA" tattoo's have them somewhere discreet and or have a tat that doesn't use the Sorority's letters, but other Sorors (if it can be seen) will be able to recognize them as a member.

Interesting post...

...Tattoos (of anything and most of all anything related to Alpha Kappa Alpha) are not for me...but I have to say live and let live on this issue.

When I was merely a sisterfriend I wanted to get a vine of Ivy leaves around my ankle, now that I am actually a member, I don't think I want to do that anymore, I might actually want to get a job when I get out of school...funny how things change.
