Uuuuhhhmmmm...just for the record, I referred
my ex-boyfriend that is a member of Omega Psi Phi as a "dog" because he was at the time. He just happened to be a member of that particular frat.

OK everyone.....let us keep perspective. I once again will state I know in all Frats there are "Dogs". A lot of Omega Men are offended by the Dog Comment for like Soror Akatude said when referring to a "Dog" please refer to a speific person or incident if ther person you were dating was a Brother of Omega Psi Phi and he had "Doggish" behavior during the relationship then refer to him as a "dog". If he was a Brother of Alpha Phi Alpha refer to him as a "Funky Moneky" But most importantly let us not make this discussion personal(not saying that it has) let us keep our good behavior in Greekdom because we are showing how petty we can be to non Greeks when they see stuff like this.

Most women think they are real but I beg to differ. I've been with my girl for 3 years and I love her very much. We have great times as well as bad but we keep it real. She's my friend. See one thing these other guys be on and I can only speak for myself. If you are diggin' someone don't start off with that smoovie doovie bull most of these b*****d be on. Be yourself. That is what these others do then the groove of you and he get messed up cause you weren't real. See the....( you are going to have to excuse me this fat white lady couldn't say excuse me and put here fat ass on my shoulder: I'm had to talk funky to her ass... but I'm back)> Like I was saying, see the problem is not the Ques its the way you perceive things. Most people want to play the role of GOD and say I want you to be this way or that way, it ain't going to happen. What happen to the unconditional love? One thing I can agree with is that we are men before we pledge and after. I you were a weak sensitive b*****d before you joined an organization, you are going to be that same b*****d. Most women like men they can control, push their button and say move robot. Most men are so happy to be getting some for the first that they don't know what they are suppose to do. I heard a saying " That women like to want a man to want them", I heard this on TV from a therapists-meaning if the man don't think intuitively that he is sucka butt jones. The women is going to point out his down falls in society- not bad ones but the ones men forget and the ones women pay attention to. But on e thing I got to say " Is what in the hell is A phi A doing making a topic like this. You all are some funny Muthas. Get your thumb out your butt man, You are not going to change your ways overnight man. Serenity_24 keep on loving that Que cause I know he loves you very much cause I love my girl.
First, before you respond to a thread, you need to make sure that you understand it. Why would you inquire as to why an A Phi A posted this thread when I clearly went through and listed all the male Greeks that I had dated?
Then, you have the nerve to try and get an attitude with my soror for expressing an opinion about ONE Omega she dated that SHE regarded as a dog. The one I dated was a
dog, too. The thread did not ask "what is your personal definition of the following Greeks..." It said "which Greeks have you dated, and what was your experience." If you just want to post and see your name in print, read the thread and the responses before you start rambling.

I don't believe I made a direct reference to you; however comments like

"Congratulations! You found the needle in the haystack!"

only negate the statement that you're referencing the experience with only one person. It comes across as though there are only a few good men of Omega Psi Phi. Sorry, I disagree.

My intentions were not to make this personal. My observations within this forum and others have been a collective negative stereotyping of the men of Omega Psi Phi.

Jazbri,

Obviously you don't get my sarcasm. The question was in reference to people we have dated. I answered that question reflecting my own personal experience. Sorry you were offended. I'll know better next time.

Anyway, back to the original topic of discussion, please. We can't make too many jokes around here for fear of offending the sensitive folks!

Thank you Sphinxpoet for understanding my comments!

I'm going to say this and really leave it alone out of respect for your forum. I know how completely and wholeheartedly you take your sorority to heart. You definitely should. I simply think that others feel the same way.

If men were to make the same comments about your organization as a whole, you would feel obligated to comment.

I'm not overly sensitive, I just think that you would pull up anyone who made negative derogatory (?sp) COLLECTIVE comments about your sorority. I'm simply returning the favor.

By all means, the ORIGINAL topic at hand was your experience with individual members of a frat. I think the jokes and the sarcasm is what takes it beyond the original plane.

Now, in sisterly love, my intention is not to put nobody's panties in a bunch, so I'll leave this topic alone.

Usually, I don't say nothing but today I felt the urge.

We interrupt your regulary scheduled thread to bring you this short commentary from Ideal08:

The Omega's bark, ok. They are Dawgs, ok. They step to Atomic Dog. I never thought the term Q-dog was derogatory, myself. DOGGYSTYLE, please clarify, if you would, with your opinion on the matter. I thought it was a play on words when used earlier, y'know, pun intended?

Jazbri, how boring would conversations be if there were no jokes and sarcasm? Most, if not all, of my conversations are laced with jokes and heavy sarcasm. It's my nature. If it gets taken beyond the original plane, then it's because someone's skin is thin, and they took it there, feel me?

As far as comments about Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. It's just like life, people are going to be people. I have been a stuck up sediddy (how the hell do you spell that???) b***h since I crossed. BUT, I've also been a PRETTY GIRL! Take the bitter with the sweet. I'm not saying senseless stereotypes don't get under my skin sometimes. I'm just saying it's not that deep.

We now return to your regularly scheduled thread.

In the end it's only words on a screen, to be interpreted by your imagination. If you imagine the words to be ill tempered, then there have it. If you imagine them to be just fun and games and just joking around, then there you have it.

Personally, I interpreted fun and games from every post, but these last few have thrown me for a loop.
